What You'll Do: Commission a high volume of artwork by identifying freelance illustrators, providing ongoing art direction, maintaining strong partner relationships, and delivering regular status updates to the Lead Art Director and Producer. Apply a strong eye for detail and a solid understanding of artistic fundamentals to source and deliver high-quality artwork aligned with Dungeons & Dragons publishing schedules and brand standards. Collaborate with department leaders and participate in brainstorms focused on future Dungeons & Dragons creative initiatives and workflow/process improvements. Present updates to leadership by showcasing work and clearly contextualizing it within the broader visual strategy. What You’ll Bring: 2+ yrs commercial art experience. A portfolio demonstrating strong creative vision with a cinematic lens. Strong communication skills and capable of giving and receiving feedback. High attention to detail and organization skills Deep knowledge of current fantasy illustration market/talent and modern print/press techniques and processes.
