NVIDIA is seeking outstanding Research Interns to join the Data-Driven AI for Robotics (DAIR) group. The focus is on learning embodied skills from large-scale human data. Our objective is to develop AI systems that capture, understand, and reproduce complex human motion and interaction skills across physical and digital embodiments, including humanoid robots and animated characters. Our research spans the full stack: reconstructing human motion and human-object interactions from video; generating diverse, controllable character behaviors; transferring motion across embodiments; and training physically grounded controllers for humanoid robots and interactive virtual characters. You will collaborate with a passionate and supportive research team that consistently produces influential work published at leading computer vision, machine learning, graphics, and robotics conferences. You will also have the opportunity to collaborate with world-class research and product teams across NVIDIA, following our strong “one-team” culture. What you'll be doing: Innovate and implement novel AI algorithms that transform large-scale human data into controllable motion and interaction skills across physical and digital embodiments. Develop robust, scalable training and inference pipelines for motion reconstruction, generation, retargeting, and character and robot control. Build methods that transfer human skills to humanoid robots, including whole-body loco-manipulation and dexterous manipulation. Maintain a close, collaborative relationship with your mentor(s). Publish your research findings at leading computer vision, machine learning, graphics, and robotics conferences. Partner with product teams to enable effective technology transfer of your work. Research Topics Include: Human motion and human-object interaction reconstruction, synthesis, and generatio
Our work at NVIDIA is dedicated towards a computing model focused on visual and AI computing. For two decades, NVIDIA has pioneered visual computing, the art and science of computer graphics, with our invention of the GPU. The GPU has also shown to be spectacularly effective at solving some of the most complex problems in computer science. Today, NVIDIA’s GPU simulates human intelligence, running deep learning algorithms and acting as the brain of computers, robots and self-driving cars that can perceive and understand the world. We are looking to grow our company and teams with the smartest people in the world and there has never been a more exciting time to join our team! The AI Infrastructure Product Design team creates software used by engineers and researchers to prepare data, run complex workflows, and understand results. This internship offers ownership of a defined product problem from early research through a tested design and implementation handoff. Designers on this team often move between Figma and working HTML prototypes, and may hand off HTML directly to engineering. This work calls for a high standard of visual and interaction design alongside technical fluency. The role is a good fit for someone who enjoys making technically complex systems easier to understand and who uses large language models and software agents thoughtfully as part of their design and prototyping process. What you will be doing: Own a focused design project for an internal AI infrastructure product, from understanding the problem through a validated design and implementation handoff. Interview engineers and researchers, map their workflows, and turn the findings into clear product requirements, user flows, and interaction models. Create precise, implementation-ready interface designs and interactive prototypes in Figma and HTML/CSS, with careful attention to typography, hierarchy, spacing, visual consistency, interactio
At Scale, our mission is to develop reliable AI systems for the world's most important decisions. For 10 years, Scale has provided the high-quality data and full-stack technologies that power the world's leading models, and has helped enterprises and governments build, deploy, and oversee AI applications that deliver real impact. We work closely with industry leaders like Meta, Ernst & Young, Mayo Clinic, Time Inc., the Government of Qatar, and U.S. government agencies including the Army and Air Force. Scale's internship is not a side project. Interns own real, shipped work on the same roadmaps as full-time engineers, with mentorship from world-class talent and a culture that values ownership, speed, and truth-seeking. Many of our interns return as full-time Scaliens. Example Projects Build reinforcement learning and post-training data pipelines that power frontier model development Develop evaluation infrastructure that measures model reliability for enterprise and public sector customers Ship agentic AI applications and the tooling that makes them observable, testable, and safe to deploy Ship tools that accelerate the growth of new qualified contributors on Scale's platform Build fraud-detection systems that remove bad actors and keep Scale's contributor base safe and trusted Use models to estimate the quality of tasks and contributors, and guarantee quality on requests at large scale Devise advanced matching algorithms that pair contributors to customers for optimal turnaround and accuracy Create optimized and efficient UI/UX tooling, in combination with ML algorithms, for 100k+ contributors completing billions of complex tasks Develop new AI infrastructure products to visualize, query, and explore Scale data Requirements A graduation date in Fall 2027 or Spring 2028 with a Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a relevant field (Computer Science, EECS, Computer Engineering, Statistics) Available for a Summer 2027 internship (May/June start dates) in San Franci
