About the Role As a member of the Data team within the Go-to-Market organization, you will help build a data-driven culture, improve decision-making, and advance strategic initiatives through analytics. This is a full-stack data role spanning data modeling, metric definition, visualization, analysis, and self-service tooling. You will build trusted, scalable data sources and products that give the business reliable, actionable insights. The work calls for judgment: you will choose the tool, approach, and level of investment that best fit each problem, from a focused analysis to a durable production data product. As a core partner to the GTM organization, you will address both foundational and ad hoc analytics needs. You will turn complex data into clear narratives that help technical and non-technical audiences understand what is happening, why it matters, and what they should do next. In This Role, You Will Partner closely with GTM teams to proactively identify high-impact questions and translate business needs into data models, metrics, analyses, and scalable technical solutions. Define, source, validate, and operationalize the metrics that guide the business, helping teams incorporate them into planning and day-to-day decisions. Lead cross-functional data projects across established and emerging business areas, including setting the data strategy for greenfield domains. Build scalable data models and pipelines that integrate and transform data from multiple sources into trusted, accessible datasets. Create dashboards, reports, analytical tools, and other data products that enable stakeholders to answer questions independently. Own the lifecycle of metrics, analytical models, and data products from initial exploration and prototyping through production and ongoing maintenance. The Collision Avoidance System (CAS) is responsible for detecting and reacting to imminent collision situations in support of our vehicle’s overall safety goals. CAS Perception is responsible for processing raw sensor data from our vehicle’s world-class sensor suite using a combination of geometric, interpretable algorithms and deep learning to detect near-collisions with obstacles along our intended driving path, in the most challenging dense urban environments and under tight compute resource constraints. Overall CAS is parallel and complementary to our Main Artificial Intelligence (AI) autonomy stack, and has a close relationship with our vehicle hardware and safety teams in order to architect redundancy into our overall driving system. The CAS Verification & Validation (CAS V&V) is a multidisciplinary team data, software and systems engineers defining and building metrics to measure the Collision Avoidance System performance and work with the Systems Design and Mission Assurance (SDMA) and QA teams to develop validation plans for the features. In this role, you will: Apply distributed computing algorithms to analyze petabytes of urban driving data. Develop metrics and tools to analyze errors and system improvements. The Zoox 3D Sensor Simulation team’s work is at the core of creating in-the-loop simulation and high fidelity synthetic data for training and testing autonomous vehicle AI. We are looking for a machine learning professional with experience applying ML to sensor data, such as LiDAR, radar, and cameras. This role lies at the intersection of machine learning and 3D simulation at Zoox, ranging from learned sensor models to neural 3D reconstruction. By improving the realism of simulated sensors (lidar, radar, and cameras), you’ll enable the Zoox robotics autonomy stack to learn, improve, and enhance the mobility of humans. In this role, you will: Design, train, and validate ML models that improve the realism of simulated lidar, radar, and camera data in autonomous vehicle (AV) simulation pipelines. Collaborate with Synthetic Data and HIL Sim teams to integrate 3DGS and NeRF-based 3D reconstruction with simulation of all sensor modalities. Build and curate training datasets from real and simulated sensor data, including GenAI-based data augmentation.
