The Director, Software Engineering (Platform & Tool Development) is a senior technology leader responsible for the engineering, architecture, development, delivery, and support of Humana's Enterprise Quality Engineering (EQE) technology ecosystem, including the Enterprise Quality Engineering Platform (EQE+), AI Workspace, AI-powered engineering tools, quality engineering applications, developer enablement solutions, automation platforms, and enterprise shared services. This leader will oversee multiple engineering teams responsible for designing, developing, modernizing, and operating business-critical platforms and applications that support quality engineering, automation, AI adoption, engineering productivity, and enterprise delivery excellence. The Director will provide both strategic and hands-on technical leadership, ensuring engineering teams deliver highly scalable, secure, cloud-native solutions that meet enterprise reliability, performance, and operational excellence standards. The role requires deep expertise in modern software engineering, cloud platforms, distributed systems, AI-enabled technologies, platform engineering, and application development.
