Business Development (“BD”) at Brex The primary focus of the BD team is to drive growth of Brex’s Embedded Finance platform. We are Brex’s Zero to One team, responsible for originating, launching, and scaling partnerships that drive nonlinear corporate card spend. This can include new vertical and market exploration, embedded distribution models, and other strategic bets. We are responsible for strategy, sourcing, negotiation and cross-functional leadership throughout the partner lifecycle. Every member of our team directly impacts our bottom line as we work closely with infrastructure and application partners ( Coupa, Navan, Zip, Tekion, etc. ) to drive non-linear growth in revenue. In the past twelve months, our BD business has experienced immense growth, with 5x YoY increase in volume through our partners. About the Team We help Merchants access the financial products they need to grow and operate their businesses. DoorDash Capital is one of the company's fastest-growing bets, and our team owns the full growth engine from identifying unmet Merchant needs to launching products and scaling them. We obsess over how to deliver more value to Merchants through our platform and our financing partnerships, and we measure ourselves on adoption, revenue, and Merchant outcomes. About the Role You will report to the Director, S&O New Business on our DoorDash Capital team and own the growth of one of our newest bets with a key partner in the financing space. This is a 0-to-1 growth role: you'll take an early product and scale it to maturity by driving adoption, conversion, and revenue. You will have support from product, engineering, sales, and marketing. The ideal candidate is energized by finding growth levers, moving fast, running experiments, and learning from data in a high-velocity environment. About the Role The US Marketplace team is looking for a motivated and hands-on operator to be the Director of Local Markets. As a Strategy & Operations Director, you’ll be responsible for driving marketplace growth in every U.S. market, across a variety of market types.
