About the Role As a Technical Program Manager on Enterprise, you will lead the technical strategy and execution behind the products and shared capabilities that make ChatGPT, Codex, and future OpenAI products useful, secure, and scalable for organizations. You will translate customer needs, competitive dynamics, and product priorities into actionable plans, influence architectural direction, and deliver durable capabilities across application, platform, and infrastructure layers. The role requires deep technical fluency, strong product judgment, and the ability to move between hands-on execution and broader enterprise strategy. This role is based in San Francisco, CA. We use a hybrid work model of 3 days in the office per week and offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role, you will: Drive technical strategy and execution for enterprise product and AI workflow initiatives, from design through implementation, launch, customer rollout, and iteration. Partner with engineering teams to influence architectural direction, interface definitions, and implementation tradeoffs across full-stack products, APIs, integrations, and shared platform systems. Translate enterprise customer requirements into actionable product priorities across AI-powered workflows, agent experiences, integrations, permissions, data access, evaluations, identity, security, governance, and deployment readiness. Represent the needs of enterprise buyers, IT administrators, security teams, business leaders, developers, and end users in product and technical decisions. About the Team The B2B Marketing team contributes to OpenAI's broader mission of ensuring responsible and widespread adoption of artificial intelligence. We are responsible for developing and executing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and usage for OpenAI's products and platform. About the Role We're looking for an enterprise Product Marketing Manager to own the administrator and governance experience across ChatGPT Work and Codex. IT administrators, security teams, and deployment owners are often the difference between an AI product being available and an organization actually putting it to work. This role will define how OpenAI earns the trust of the people responsible for approving, deploying, managing, and expanding AI inside their organizations. You will translate a fast-moving set of enterprise capabilities into a clear, practical story covering setup, access, controls, governance, security, usage, and value. You will own the administrator audience as a dedicated product marketing discipline, partnering closely with Product, Security, Sales, Customer Success, Growth, Customer Education, and other Marketing teams. This is the founding role for our identity and authorization team within enterprise engineering. You'll own the identity and access layer of the Baseten platform: the authorization model, credential systems, and admin experiences that enterprise IT teams use to govern access for organizations like Harvey, HubSpot, and Notion. You'll design and build Baseten's fine-grained authorization system from the ground up to support the workflows customers depend on today while giving them cleaner, more precise ways to manage access as the platform grows. Authorization at Baseten requires low-latency permission checks at high request volume, consistent contracts and behaviors across the product suite, and strong security guarantees for mission-critical, highly regulated workloads.
