The Role Many enterprise deals Ema closes starts with a BDR earning five minutes with the right person. Our Business Development Representatives run a signal-led, account-based hunting motion against a defined enterprise ICP to book qualified meetings (SQLs) that convert into demos and paid POCs. The motion works: the team has a real playbook, real signal scoring in our tools, and real enterprise logos in the pipeline. What it needs now is a dedicated leader to run it with daily rigor. As Enterprise BDR Leader, you own the BDR function end to end. You will manage a distributed team of Business Development Representatives across the US and India, instill the metrics discipline and coaching cadence that turns activity into qualified pipeline, and rebuild onboarding and enablement so new reps ramp fast and hit quota on schedule. This is a newly created role — the BDR function has been running without a dedicated, full-time manager, and you are the person who changes that. The Role The Customer Engagement Manager owns a portfolio of strategic enterprise accounts end-to-end: every engagement, every outcome, every relationship, every expansion opportunity. Think of this as the McKinsey Associate Partner model applied to enterprise AI delivery. You are the single point of accountability for your accounts. The customer calls you — not your manager — when they have a problem. You staff delivery teams, oversee solution quality, run executive readouts, measure ROI, drive adoption, rebuild trust when things break, and grow the book through proven production value. This is not a project management role. This is an account ownership role that combines delivery orchestration, outcome ownership, customer leadership, and commercial growth. What You’ll Own 1. Role Overview We are seeking a seasoned AI Strategist to lead strategic enterprise accounts and play a pivotal role in shaping high-impact AI engagements. This role will work closely with our Executive Leadership Team, providing leverage on our most important deals and helping drive transformative AI adoption across major enterprises. The ideal candidate has previously served as a Senior Engagement Manager (or equivalent) at a top-tier consulting firm such as McKinsey, BCG, Bain, or comparable management consulting firms, and is familiar with complex enterprise sales motions. You must be comfortable engaging at C-level, shaping AI strategy for customers, and partnering cross-functionally to orchestrate successful outcomes. About the role As Ema scales, our corporate IT environment tools, access, devices, and compliance has outgrown an ownership-by-default model. We're hiring an IT Engineer to own it end to end. This is not a traditional helpdesk role. Ema is an agentic AI company, and we expect our own internal operations to reflect that. You'll run corporate IT while systematically automating it, using agentic tooling to remove the manual work rather than absorbing it.
