About the Role We’re looking for a Global Head of Events to lead a large, established global events and production team, with the opportunity to define what comes next. Working with OpenAI’s executive team, you’ll set the direction for our event portfolio, focus investment on the experiences that matter most, and give the team the clarity and support to do its best work. This is a chance to build on a substantial foundation and create the experiences people will associate with OpenAI for years to come. Your remit will span the company: flagship conferences, product launch experiences, developer gatherings, executive programs, regional events, and our presence at important industry and cultural moments. At their best, they help a leadership team understand what is changing, distinguish what is possible now from what is still emerging, and leave with greater clarity about what to do next. About the Role We are looking for an Executive Programs Lead, Americas to build and lead the portfolio through which OpenAI engages its most important customers and executives across the region. You will own the regional strategy, team, and quality bar for Executive Briefings and a broader portfolio of C-suite engagements, recurring executive forums, advisory programs, and proven formats ready to scale. Your mandate is to turn high-stakes customer moments into a durable business capability, one that consistently advances important relationships while preserving the judgment and customization that exceptional executive experiences require. This is a senior people-leadership role for a builder who can set direction, make disciplined portfolio choices, and create the systems and team required to deliver at scale. You will partner closely with Sales, Product Marketing, Product, Research, Solutions, Customer Success, Events, and OpenAI executives, moving comfortably between long-term design and the critical details of a live engagement. This role is based in San Francisco. We use a hybrid model of three days in the office each week and offer relocation assistance. You will shape the product-marketing strategy and narrative for these engagements, bringing together customer priorities, product truth, market context, and evidence to clarify what matters and help senior leaders understand what AI makes possible for their organizations. You will personally shape our highest-priority engagements while building narrative frameworks, proof, and resources that raise the quality of executive conversations across the enterprise business. This is a senior, hands-on individual-contributor role for an exceptional enterprise product marketer who wants their judgment and craft to remain close to the work. You will partner closely with Product Marketing, Sales, Product, Research, Solutions, and OpenAI executives.
