Title and Summary

Executive Assistant

Overview:

• The Executive Assistant will support key executives across Consumer Products and Processing. They will help to set the tone for the team. A high energy, creative, outgoing “people person” with strong trust is desired. The role includes performing general administrative duties such as telephone coverage, scheduling of meetings, travel arrangements, expense reporting, calendar management, copying, ordering supplies, and maintaining department records including the departmental budget and contract administration support. Ideally, this person would also be keen to take on more than the core tasks and would be interested in leveraging this role as a way to expand their experience and develop their skills through some project work.

Major Accountabilities:

• Perform general administrative duties to support day-to-day operations in such areas as phone coverage ,scheduling meetings, completing travel arrangements, expense reporting, maintaining management calendar, and taking and distributing meeting minutes.
• Prepare communications, reports, presentations, or other assigned documentation
• Ensure all meeting support is appropriately coordinated for meetings and events
• Administer programs, projects or processes specific to the Credit team, and maintain spreadsheets or databases to monitor departmental information.
• May research special topics as assigned.
• Serve as administrative liaison with others within and outside the company.

All About You:

Education:

• High School education. College degree a plus.
• Executive administrative experience in a corporate environment interfacing with senior and executive level management and customers.

Skills/Abilities:

• Ability to think outside the box and solve problems creatively
• Excellent relationship management skills with the ability to influence and persuade, to work collaboratively across functions, and to interact effectively with stakeholders
• Keen sense of urgency with a results-driven orientation
• Ability to prioritize and discern what is truly important
• Solid understanding of MasterCard’s operational and organizational infrastructure is advantageous
• Proficiency in MS office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook); Oracle required;
• Accuracy and attention to detail with the ability to multi-task.
• Ability to function well in a busy and varied environment and work well under pressure.

In line with Mastercard’s total compensation philosophy and assuming that the job will be performed in the US, the successful candidate will be offered a competitive base salary and may be eligible for an annual bonus or commissions depending on the role. The base salary offered may vary depending on multiple factors, including but not limited to location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Mastercard benefits for full time (and certain part time) employees generally include: insurance (including medical, prescription drug, dental, vision, disability, life insurance); flexible spending account and health savings account; paid leaves (including 16 weeks of new parent leave and up to 20 days of bereavement leave); 80 hours of Paid Sick and Safe Time, 25 days of vacation time and 5 personal days, pro-rated based on date of hire; 10 annual paid U.S. observed holidays; 401k with a best-in-class company match; deferred compensation for eligible roles; fitness reimbursement or on-site fitness facilities; eligibility for tuition reimbursement; and many more.
