THE ROLE Join the Snowflake Finance team and help scale our global finance and accounting operations as we continue to grow. We are seeking a strong GL Accounting Manager to support our global corporate accounting team. This is a highly visible, hands-on individual contributor role for an experienced accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. You will combine strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and a continuous-improvement mindset to own critical areas of accounting operations, while supporting Snowflake’s global intercompany framework. You will take end-to-end ownership of key close workstreams, evaluate and operationalize complex and non-routine transactions, and partner cross-functionally to solve accounting and operational challenges. You will also help improve existing processes and use automation and AI-driven products to reduce repetitive and manual work to improve efficiency, accuracy, and controls. As an Accounting Manager, Lending Products, you'll join the Accounting team within Finance and own the end-to-end accounting function for Coinbase's prime financing and brokerage business. Reporting to the Assistant Controller, Prime Brokerage and Digital Assets, you'll build processes and controls from the ground up, lead a team through monthly close and quarterly/annual reporting, and partner cross-functionally to ensure accurate financial reporting as this business scales. This role sits on the Controllership team and will help to own the preparation of our public company filings — Forms 10-Q, 10-K and 8-K — along with statutory reporting and equity accounting under ASC 718. You will be a technical resource for the broader accounting organization, partnering closely with Legal, FP&A, People, Stock Administration and our external auditors, and you will have real ownership of the processes and controls behind numbers that go to the market.
