About the Role This role provides a unique opportunity to build finance business partnership and strategy at a hyper-growth company. We are looking for a Senior Associate who can build financial models from scratch and is eager to join a fast paced team, supporting our Deal Desk team's partnership with Sales (Enterprise/Mid-Market and SMB) on Go-To-Market (GTM) support for new restaurant merchant deals, renegotiations and other commercial agreements across Marketplace, Commerce Platform and emerging lines of business. You will partner with teams across the business including Business Development, Sales, Account Managers, Strategy & Operations, Product GMs, Accounting and Finance to support strategic business and financial decisions. You will build and maintain financial models and help inform commercial recommendations. About the Team Our New Verticals team launched in 2020 with the purpose of delighting our customers and empowering local communities outside of just restaurants. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. New Verticals is the growth engine of DoorDash’s business and we are continuing to build and scale new businesses everyday! About the Role We are hiring two Associate Manager roles on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to lead high growth segments of the grocery business - mid market and local grocery. In this role you will serve as the general manager of your respective segment – the central owner of the end to end merchant and customer experience to make them successful. Your role will include a mix of managing the day to day success of the segment, while also driving long-range strategic bets that are critical to the portfolio’s success.
