We are now looking for a Senior Accountant to be based in Soborg, Denmark, who will be responsible for leading key accounting operations, financial reporting, statutory compliance, audit coordination and control activities for assigned Danish entities and businesses. The role will support both US GAAP and local GAAP reporting requirements, partner closely with local, regional and global stakeholders, and help drive process standardisation, automation and continuous improvement as the Finance organisation evolves. Key Responsibilities: Prepare and coordinate statutory financial statements, regulatory filings and the annual audit process for Danish entities, ensuring compliance with local GAAP, US GAAP and statutory requirements Manage local compliance activities, including VAT, tax, payroll accounting and other statutory reporting requirements Deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis to local, regional and global stakeholders, including commentary on key business results and variances Complete US GAAP month-end close activities and maintain accurate US GAAP to local GAAP reconciliations Maintain a strong control environment, including SOX controls, balance sheet reconciliations and follow-up of audit actions. As our new Senior Regulatory Data & Reporting Specialist you'll join the Capital & Regulatory Reporting team based in Copenhagen, reporting to Meinhard — bringing your regulatory reporting expertise into a role where you'll translate regulatory frameworks into the system logic, calculation rules, and requirements that our reporting runs on — driving quality review and gap analysis across our reporting perimeter, and helping position CRR as the internal SME that Lunar's product and tech teams build with. What will you do? Review and analyze transaction alerts to identify potentially suspicious activity — applying sound judgment and following internal procedures at every step. Investigate flagged cases end-to-end, documenting findings clearly and accurately in line with AML requirements.
