Titan Security is hiring a Security Officer Downtown Chicago with the opportunity to be the face of a prestigious building and contribute to a positive and welcoming environment. Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to: Creates positive, memorable, and an efficient interaction at the exterior of the building, within the building lobby and front desk. Proactively greets guests on exterior of the building and inside the lobby environment, identifying needs and fulfilling appropriately. Monitors traffic flow and lines within the lobby and at the lobby desk; directing guests to appropriate areas to minimize wait times. Actively identifies, acknowledges, diagnoses, and resolves guest concerns as they arrive outside and enter the property Enthusiastically promotes amenities of the building. Maintains accurate knowledge of groups and events that are onsite and happening within the building Promotes team work and quality service through daily communications and coordination with other departments. Flex Security Officer – $22.00/Hour We are seeking dependable and professional Flex Security Officers to provide coverage at multiple client locations based on staffing needs. Requirements: Must be available to work at least 2 out of 3 shifts (1st, 2nd, and 3rd) Weekend availability is required Must be willing to travel to different client locations Reliable transportation is required Must be dependable, flexible, and professional Must meet all company hiring and licensing requirements This is a flex position and does not have a set schedule or permanent location. Shifts and locations will vary based on operational needs. Responsibilities of Security Officers include, but are not limited to: Officers must be attentive, approachable, and capable of enforcing policies while delivering excellent customer service to guests, staff, and vendors. This is a high-visibility, physically demanding, customer-facing role in a fast-paced public environment. Maintain clear, accurate administrative logs at front desk pertaining to people or property including packages. Control access for tenants, visitors or vendors as required Enforce museum rules and policies in a professional, customer-service-oriented manner Monitor security guard cameras and conduct patrols to guard against theft and maintain a safe environment Respond to incidents, including emergencies at the property, and record data on incidents for building and Titan Security management Provide a visible security presence throughout the museum Rotate between assigned posts as needed Required Qualifications of Security Officers: Must be at least 18 years of age. Responsibilities include: Perform concierge and patrol services at assigned properties, ensuring the safety and security of tenants, visitors, and assets. Conduct access control and gate entry operations at warehouse locations, verifying credentials and logging over-the-road drivers. Monitor and operate security technology, including CCTV systems, access control systems, and incident reporting software. Write detailed and professional reports on daily activities, incidents, and observations. Conduct routine foot and vehicle patrols to deter and detect security threats. Respond promptly to emergencies, and incidents, following company and client protocols. Enforce company and client policies, including safety procedures, trespassing, and unauthorized access.
