Role overview
Job description
Our vision is to transform how the world uses information to enrich life for all.
Micron Technology is a world leader in innovating memory and storage solutions that accelerate the transformation of information into intelligence, inspiring the world to learn, communicate and advance faster than ever.
Micron's Global Facilities organization delivers the semiconductor fabs and support facilities that expand the company's manufacturing capacity around the world. Within it, the Construction Project Controls team sets the cost, schedule, risk and project management standards used across Micron's capital construction programs, and is responsible for the systems that carry them — including Procore, the project management information system (PMIS) shared by Micron teams, general contractors and design partners.
The Global Procore Administrator & Construction Process Lead owns how Micron's construction teams and partners use Procore's project management tools, including RFIs, Submittals, Drawings and Specifications, Inspections, Observations, Safety, Action Plans, Meetings and Correspondence. The role defines the standard workflows, configures the platform to support them, and drives adoption and data quality across global sites, while staying hands-on during high-volume execution phases. Document control is handled by a dedicated team; this role partners with them on drawing and specification workflows.
Responsibilities
- Own the configuration and continuous improvement of Procore's Project Management tools — RFIs, Submittals, Drawings and Specifications, Meetings, Correspondence, Action Plans Inspections, observations and Tasks
- Build and administer permission templates and project templates for Micron teams, general contractors, design consultants and subcontractors, and lead PMIS onboarding for new projects and contracting partners.
- Author standard operating procedures, job aids and facilitate training, and serve as the global partner concern point for workflow and system issues raised by project teams and external partners.
- Monitor adoption, cycle times and data quality across the project portfolio, and publish the reporting and dashboards that drive measurable improvement.
- Partner with IT, Project Controls and the platform vendor on configuration changes, release management, enterprise integrations and emerging capabilities, including AI-assisted review.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Construction Management, Project Management or a related field, or equivalent construction experience.
- 7–10 years of construction industry experience with a strong emphasis on PMIS administration and construction project management workflows.
- Hands-on Procore administration, including tool configuration, permission and project templates, workflow setup and reporting. Comparable PMIS experience (Autodesk Construction Cloud, Aconex, e-Builder, Unifier, Kahua) will be considered.
- Deep working knowledge of the RFI, submittal, drawing and specification, inspection and observation lifecycles on large commercial or industrial construction projects.
- Proven experience setting multi-project process standards, building training, and driving adoption across internal teams and external contractors, with strong communication and partner management skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Procore Certified: Administrator, or equivalent platform certification.
- Experience on semiconductor, data center, pharmaceutical, petrochemical or other large-scale industrial capital projects.
- Owner-side or owner's representative experience administering a PMIS across multiple contractors and design partners.
- Experience with PMIS integrations to ERP and enterprise reporting platforms.
- Experience and/or interest in developing Agentic AI workflows into current or future processes.
