About Mach Industries Founded in 2023, Mach Industries is a rapidly growing defense technology company focused on developing next-generation autonomous defense platforms. At the core of our mission is the commitment to delivering scalable, decentralized defense systems that enhance the strategic capabilities of the United States and its allies. With a workforce of approximately 350 employees, we operate with startup agility and ambition. Our vision is to redefine the future of warfare through cutting-edge manufacturing, innovation at speed, and unwavering focus on national security. We are dedicated to solving the next generation of warfare with lethal systems that deter kinetic conflict and protect global security. The Role Mach Industries is seeking a New Graduate Guidance, Navigation, and Controls (GNC) Engineer to support the development of next-generation autonomous defense systems. In this role, you will help design, simulate, test, and integrate algorithms that enable our vehicles to navigate, maneuver, and complete their missions. You will work closely with flight software, avionics, aerodynamics, propulsion, systems, and flight-test teams to take GNC capabilities from early simulation through hardware testing and flight. Key Responsibilities Develop and test guidance, navigation, and control algorithms for autonomous aircraft and missile systems. Build simulations and models to evaluate vehicle dynamics and system performance. Support the development of flight-control laws, guidance algorithms, navigation filters, and state-estimation methods. Analyze flight and test data to evaluate performance and identify opportunities for improvement. Support software-in-the-loop, hardware-in-the-loop, ground, and flight testing. Integrate GNC algorithms with flight software, sensors, actuators, avionics, and propulsion systems. Perform Monte Carlo simulations and sensitivity analyses across different operating conditions. Document algorithms, simulation results, test p
