About the Role Growth engineering builds the systems and applications that power every growth channel at Ramp. As an engineer on this team, you’ll own foundational problems ranging from high volume data ingestion and interfaces to customer-facing applications and AI-powered workflows. You’ll partner closely with product, data, and design, and work directly with stakeholders across growth, sales, and finance. The Role: We're looking for a Growth Engineer to own the technical foundation of Modal's marketing and developer-facing web surfaces: the marketing site, docs site, growth landing pages, high-profile microsites, forms, analytics instrumentation, and the integrations that help users discover, understand, and get started with Modal. This is a frontend-heavy role for someone with strong product taste, web engineering craft, and a business-owner mindset. You'll partner with Product Engineering, Design, Data, and Growth to ship polished, measurable web experiences from high-profile projects like the GPU Glossary and LLM Engine Advisor to internal tooling that helps teams publish content faster. The website is our primary lead capture system that turns traffic into pipeline. You own the systems that connect our marketing surface to Salesforce, Customer.io/Hubspot, and our broader GTM stack. You set the technical roadmap for this surface, move fast, measure impact, and treat reliability as a first-class concern rather than a cleanup task.You will also collaborate with Growth Engineering on shared infrastructure including handraiser routing and tracking. From the first time a new user signs up for a Datadog trial, this team is responsible for making sure they have a world class setup and onboarding experience, and can realize the full value of Datadog in their organization.
