What you'll do We're looking for a business value strategist to join our pricing team. You'll partner with sales and customers throughout complex enterprise sales cycles to develop customer-specific value frameworks, build rigorous ROI models and investment cases grounded in operating and financial metrics, and translate Sierra's impact into measurable outcomes such as lower operating costs, incremental revenue, and stronger customer loyalty. You'll also create and scale repeatable, industry-specific business cases and establish Sierra's business value framework from the ground up. What you’ll do You'll own the operational backbone that connects what we sell to what we bill: turning executed contracts and agent usage into accurate bookings and reports, and turning the data behind both into critical insights the business acts on. This role sits at the center of the company’s business model and works across Sales, Finance, Legal, Pricing, GTM Systems, and Agent Development. This is a foundational, hands-on individual contributor role at the intersection of business strategy, finance, go-to-market, and delivery. You will turn ambiguous questions—what we offer, how we price and package it, how we plan capacity, and how we measure performance—into clear decisions and repeatable mechanisms. You will own business planning, pricing and packaging, forecasting and modeling, management reporting, and cross-functional strategic initiatives. Working within Finance and partnering with GTM, Sales, and Product, you will focus on pricing analytics, price performance, and the effectiveness of credit programs while contributing to broader commercial strategy. In this role, you will Build regular pricing-performance reviews, analyze discounting and concessions, and turn findings into better pricing guidance. Develop commercial strategies and pricing programs for customer segments such as education, startups, and government. Define objectives and success measures for credit programs and promotions, and evaluate their return on investment. Translate segment goals and product pricing strategy into scalable pricing frameworks and commercial structures.
