To support our next-generation, high-performance RISC-V CPU architectures and advanced chiplet solutions, Tenstorrent is looking for a hands-on, experienced Post-Silicon Lab Manager. In this role, you will own the post-silicon lab infrastructure and manage operational workflows supporting bring-up, system validation, and customer enablement. You will scale the lab infrastructure to support multiple programs with varied requirements. You will direct post silicon validation engineers on cost building cost effective validation and debug infrastructure. This role is hybrid, based out of Santa Clara, CA. Who You Are You hold a B.S. or M.S. in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a similar technical field, and you have 8–12+ years in semiconductor hardware, including 3+ years leading a post-silicon validation, characterization, or hardware lab team focused on CPUs. As the RISC-V AI / HPC & Agentic Software Engineering Lead, you will operate at the hardware–software boundary, enabling AI, HPC, and agentic AI software stacks on Tenstorrent’s RISC-V processors. This role is responsible for integrating and optimizing Tenstorrent’s LLK (Low-Level Kernel) infrastructure for CPU execution, while leading the bring-up of a RISC-V-native agentic AI software stack — including runtime orchestration, distributed execution frameworks, memory systems, and developer tools required for goal-driven AI systems. You’ll work across modern datacenter and agentic AI workloads—including Java, Python, PHP, Node.js, Lua, Go, and Rust—to identify performance bottlenecks and develop software, compiler, runtime, and hardware-aware optimizations that improve throughput, latency, and efficiency. This role sits at the intersection of software runtimes, compilers, CPU microarchitecture, and RISC-V silicon.
