The US Construction Engineering department is responsible for the design and construction efforts for high-tech, large-scale projects for Micron in the US. Current high-profile projects include the design and construction of two high-volume manufacturing fabs in Boise, ID1 and ID2, and a third fab in Clay, New York. We are seeking an experienced Chemical Systems Engineer to oversee the third-party design of chemical delivery and handling systems for high-tech large-scale construction projects. The Chemical Systems Engineer will manage external design firms, ensuring that chemical systems meet stringent project specifications, safety standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires deep technical expertise in chemical systems, strong project management skills, and effective collaboration with multidisciplinary teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compliant systems for semiconductor manufacturing. Job Responsibilities: Manage third-party design firms in developing chemical delivery and handling systems, including storage, distribution, and hazardous waste management. Coordinate with external and internal stakeholders—including contractors, vendors, procurement, finance, construction and design teams—to ensure alignment with facility needs and project schedules. We are seeking a Manager of Transmission Line Engineer who will manage a collaborative and dynamic team working in a fast-paced environment, solving challenging problems involved with electric transmission. The successful candidate will serve as a Supervisor and Engineering Lead on high voltage electric transmission line design projects of overhead and underground systems for some of the largest utilities in the country as well as regional utilities. The candidate will apply NESC, ASCE, ACI, NEC, and other applicable standards in the engineering and design of all types of capital and maintenance projects from 34.5 kV to 765 kV. Additionally, you will assist the team, as well as independently perform: engineering analyses, prepare bidding documents, plans, and specifications, and prepare material procurement and construction documents. Job Purpose The Field Service Specialist provides installation support, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and on-site customer support for deployed KARNO Power Modules. This is the first dedicated field service role supporting KARNO and is a foundational position within Hyliion's field service organization, which is being built to support installations across the United States. Early deployments focus on defense and data center applications. The position begins with an intensive training period of approximately three to four months in Milford, OH, working alongside the research, development, and engineering teams as KARNO units are built and serviced during final testing, including training on heat engine fundamentals, PLCs, HMIs, and advanced control systems. The position then transitions to field installation, commissioning, and long-term on-site support at customer locations, initially across the West Coast and expanding to other regions as the installed base grows.
