Who You Are The AI Implementation Engineer owns the technical delivery and stabilization of Ema's agentic AI solutions in customer environments — from commitment through production rollout and steady state. This is a hands-on, post-sales, customer-facing engineering role: you build, you deliver, and you are the technical anchor the customer leans on. You are equally comfortable writing production code, debugging an integration the night before a go-live, walking a customer's VP of Operations through an architecture decision and translating a messy business problem into a feasible agentic workflow. You thrive in ambiguity, make abstract problems concrete, and reduce chaos rather than amplify it when things go wrong. You'll work closely with Value Engineering, Product, Engineering, Infrastructure, and the customer's IT and business teams to prove that agentic AI can be implemented responsibly — not heroically. As a Senior Customer Engineer you will own strategic and complex Enterprise accounts across acquisition, implementation, adoption, expansion, and escalation. You will lead technical strategy for complex deployments, resolve ambiguous customer challenges, and partner closely with account teams to drive retention, expansion, and customer value. Your impact will extend beyond your own accounts through playbooks, coaching, repeatable fixes, and workflow improvements that raise the capability of the broader Customer Engineering team. About the Team The mission of the Applied AI Engineering team is to enable the secure and impactful implementation of Agentic solutions. In this international Government role, you will deliver clearly scoped AI use cases with public-sector customers, from a mission need through hands-on implementation, architecture, evaluations, measurable adoption, and documented handoff. Account-aligned technical and commercial owners retain ongoing account ownership. About the Role We are looking for a driven solutions leader with a product mindset to partner with our international public-sector customers and ensure they achieve tangible value with GenAI. You will pair with government agencies, policymakers, and other public institutions to establish a GenAI strategy and identify the highest value applications. You’ll partner with their technical teams, subject matter experts, regional cloud providers, systems integrators, and implementation partners to move from prototype through production. You’ll design architectures using supported OpenAI technologies and approved services, with explicit data, inference, evaluation, and production-readiness boundaries. You will collaborate closely with regional Sales and Solutions Engineering, Global Affairs, Applied Research, Product, Legal, and Security teams. This role is based in London.
