OVERVIEW The position of Install Helper for Construction Resources will be responsible for the proper installation of various types of glass and mirrors. Requires ability to cut and properly handle glass, mirrors and enclosures, wire shelving, bath accessories and door hardware. Requires excellent customer service and good communication skills. Willingness to work in a team environment with Crew Leader is necessary. The Stone Installer will be responsible for the precise and aesthetically pleasing installation of various stone materials, including natural stone, tiles, and masonry products. JOB DESCRIPTION Key Performance Indicators: Metal Preparation Surface Preparation Installation Grouting and Sealing Repair and Restoration Quality Control Safety Compliance Collaboration Responsibilities: Measure, cut, and shape stones using hand or power tools to fit specific project requirements. Prepare surfaces for stone installation by cleaning, leveling, and ensuring proper substrate conditions. Apply adhesive between stones and seal surfaces as needed for enhanced durability and appearance. Install all types of stone materials, including natural stone, tiles, and masonry products, in both interior and exterior spaces. Ensure accurate alignment, spacing, and leveling of stones to achieve the desired aesthetic and structural outcome. Identify and repair damaged or chipped stones as needed during the installation process. Perform restoration work on existing stone installations to maintain their integrity and appearance. Conduct thorough inspections of completed stone installations to ensure adherence to project specifications and quality standards. Promptly address any defects or issues to meet client expectations. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines, including the proper use of personal protective equipment and safe handling of tools and equipment. The Lead Fireplace Installer is responsible supervising and executing the installation of natural and engineered stone in both interior and exterior applications. The role ensures high-quality craftsmanship, compliance with safety and building codes, and coordination with other trades to meet project deadlines. JOB DESCRIPTION Responsibilities: Lead the installation of stone materials on construction projects. Read and interpret architectural drawings, layout plans, and shop drawings. Prepare and level surfaces for stone installation; oversee cutting, shaping, and fitting of stone. Supervise and train installers. Ensure alignment, leveling, grouting, sealing, and finishing of installed stone meets aesthetic and technical standards. Coordinate with suppliers, designers, and other trades to ensure material availability and correct execution. Inspect completed work for accuracy, durability, and compliance. Enforce site safety practices and conduct safety briefings. Maintain daily reports, track material usage, and assist in project documentation. Continue education to ensure current with latest regulations, safety initiatives, and overall awareness of products. Assist in warehouse related tasks when necessary. Basic Qualifications: 3-5 years’ experience in stone installation or masonry work. Familiarity with operating cutting tools, grinders, polishers, and lifting equipment. In-depth knowledge of stone materials, adhesives, and sealants. Organized and detail oriented. Excellent problem-solving skills. Strong customer service background.
