Location Micron Singapore Bendemeer (MSB), Singapore Department Storage Technology Product Group, Product Engineering Firmware Project Title AI-Enabled Manufacturing Firmware Development and SSD Failure Analysis Project Description The intern will undertake an engineering project focused on Manufacturing Test Firmware development for Solid-State Drive test and validation environments. Under engineer guidance, the intern will develop firmware features, evaluate test coverage, and apply Artificial Intelligence tools to code generation, validation, log analysis, and failure investigation. The project will also provide exposure to firmware development, embedded systems, manufacturing data, and AI-Enabled engineering workflows. Objective of the Project Develop Manufacturing Test Firmware for a defined Solid-State Drive test use case. Improve firmware validation, test coverage, or test efficiency. Location Singapore Department NAND Product Engineering Project Title NAND Product Validation, Characterization, and Electrical Failure Analysis Project Description The intern will undertake a structured engineering project focused on NAND product validation, characterization, and electrical failure analysis. Under the guidance of experienced product engineers, the intern will gain practical exposure to NAND device physics, product specifications, validation methodologies, and semiconductor test equipment. The project will include hands-on bench testing, analysis of electrical test results, and evaluation of selected product changes or failure cases. The intern will collaborate with engineers from Product Engineering and relevant cross-functional teams to understand how technical evidence is used to investigate NAND-related issues and improve product quality. The Business Operations team drives strategic planning and operational excellence across key domains, including research and development cost management, operational expense planning, workforce management, metrics governance, and capital expenditure optimization. Under the guidance of experienced team members, the selected intern will contribute to a structured project to develop an Artificial Intelligence-enabled data harness platform. The platform will integrate relevant business-planning data and enable intelligent decision support for quarterly planning activities. Location Fab10X,1 North Coast Drive Department Non-Volatile Engineering Product Engineering, NAND Reliability Project Title Intrinsic Reliability Validation Coverage Enhancement Project Description The intern will review existing intrinsic reliability validation coverage for NAND products and identify critical functionalities that may require additional testing. The project focuses on improving validation robustness and enabling earlier issue detection before product sampling. Objective of the Project Develop a comprehensive validation coverage matrix and recommend enhancements based on existing test flows and product datasheet specifications. Opportunities for Full Time Employment Upon successful completion of the internship, the intern may be considered for future full time employment opportunities, subject to satisfactory performance, role availability, and business needs. Project Scope Review existing intrinsic reliability test flows and validation coverage. Map current tests against datasheet-defined product functionalities. Identify coverage gaps that could delay issue detection.

This project provides the intern with an opportunity to explore how AI-enabled solutions can streamline selected engineering workflows, generate intelligent insights, and improve operational efficiency. The intern will collaborate with Photo engineers to understand engineering challenges, identify suitable automation opportunities, and develop project-based AI and Python solutions. The intern will also prototype AI Agents for selected use cases involving troubleshooting, workflow management, reporting, knowledge retrieval, and decision-making. Department Process and Equipment Engineering (Diffusion) Project Title F10 CMOS Matching and RegE Wafer Edge Exclusion Programme Project Description The Process and Equipment Engineering Intern will participate in an engineering project focused on CMOS matching analysis and wafer edge yield enhancement within advanced semiconductor manufacturing processes. Working alongside Process and Equipment Engineers, the intern will gain hands-on exposure to yield learning methodologies, inline process monitoring, defect characterization, and data-driven manufacturing optimization. The project provides opportunities to investigate process variations, evaluate wafer edge performance, and develop analytical solutions that enhance manufacturing quality and yield performance.
