About the Team This role reports into our New Verticals team, which was launched in 2020 with the purpose of delighting our customers and empowering our local economies outside of just restaurants. Since then, we’ve launched Grocery, Convenience, Alcohol, Retail, and DashMarts while also building merchant services, dasher tooling and consumer products. About the Role Join one of DoorDash’s fastest-growing teams and help define what great looks like for Convenience. From the strategy behind how orders get fulfilled to the product features that make it happen, you’ll sit at the intersection of Strategy, Operations, and Product, working directly with Engineering and Product teams to shape what gets built and own the outcomes end-to-end. Key Responsibilities Partner with Product and Engineering to define requirements, prioritize features, and ship solutions that improve the end-to-end customer experience across DoorDash’s Convenience network. Lead cross-functional initiatives that close the gap between platform inventory and real-world in-store availability, to ensure customers always get exactly what they ordered. Set the strategic roadmap for convenience quality — defining the metrics that matter, building toward a long-term vision, and partnering across the New Verticals Org to get there. This role sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and product. The best operators today are rapidly generating new ideas, taking ownership over metrics and moving them in the right direction, putting together product visions, and synthesizing complex analyses — all while leveraging AI to uplevel how we operate. About the Team New Verticals is a lean team in growth mode at DoorDash that is building and scaling new categories for our customers, leveraging the DoorDash platform. New Verticals includes over 100K grocery, convenience, alcohol, retail and DashMart businesses. The Shopping Experience team supports our New Verticals platform, with a focus on making the end-to-end DoorDash customer experience faster, easier and more delightful than shopping in store. About the Role Search is critical to delivering a seamless customer experience. About the Role We are hiring a Senior Associate on our Grocery Merchant Strategy & Operations teams to work scaling the service offerings we can provide to consumers through our third party merchant partnerships with some of the most well known grocers and your local favorite grocers on our platform! In this role, you will lead growth projects for major Grocery merchants to ensure we are able to onboard every SKU or service a grocery store offers. This includes portfolio management, ideating and launching 0-1 initiatives across our merchants, onboarding merchants to new services and improving quality every step of the way.
