Position Summary The Front End Operations Supervisor is responsible for leading a team of approximately 20 employees and overseeing the day-to-day operations of mail intake, document processing, and workflow management. This role provides direct supervision, coaching, and performance support through regular one-on-one meetings, team communications, and operational oversight to ensure service levels and business objectives are met. Key responsibilities include managing the daily workload associated with in-house printing, returned mail processing, document scanning, check handling, and mail indexing activities. The Supervisor is responsible for monitoring work queues, balancing resources, addressing operational issues, and ensuring timely and accurate processing of all incoming and outgoing work. This person serves as a primary liaison with the mailroom vendor, coordinating the receipt, processing, and distribution of incoming mail. The Supervisor partners with internal and external stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities, resolve service issues, and ensure operational efficiency across all front-end mail operations. This role serves as a primary operational contact for assigned partners and internal stakeholders, driving service excellence, issue resolution, partner accountability, and ongoing relationship management. The individual will partner closely with Account Executives, sales leadership, client management teams, implementation teams, and operational stakeholders to support partner performance, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and execute strategic initiatives that improve client, member, and partner experience. Responsibilities include monitoring operational performance, coordinating issue remediation, supporting implementations and escalations, maintaining governance processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, and contributing to sales enablement and growth initiatives. We have the resources of a national carrier coupled with the unique flexibility and devoted service of a third-party administrator (TPA). The Meritain Health underwriting department supports the attainment of organizational goals through the issuance of prospective and existing business quotations and proposals. Including administrative fee pricing, stop loss, RFP questionnaire responses, and plan consultation. This fully-remote position will have the opportunity to work on a diversified book of business including Mid-Market and our Captive/Alternate channels.
