NPI Demand Fulfillment & Execution Manage end-to-end execution of NPI demand lines from build request through shipment. Monitor MAD commitments and proactively identify delivery risks. Drive recovery plans and mitigation actions for schedule deviations. Partner with site NPM and operations teams to improve delivery predictability. Support demand line closure and disposition governance processes. 2. Build Plan & Production Order Management Coordinate build plan commitments with manufacturing sites. Monitor production order start and completion performance. Drive execution to meet production order due dates and customer commitments. Resolve execution bottlenecks impacting critical NPI deliveries. 3. WIP & Hot Lot Management Monitor critical NPI WIP movement across assembly, test, module and SSD operations. Manage hot lot prioritization and escalation processes. Track end-to-end cycle time performance and ensure timely lot progression. Project Title Mechanical Hot-Plug Automation Solution for Solid-State Drive Validation Project Description Solid-state drive hot-plug capability enables a storage device to be connected to or disconnected from an operating server system. Evaluating this capability is an important part of understanding solid-state drive reliability and system behavior. This engineering internship project is intended to provide the intern with practical exposure to solid-state drive technology, server hardware, mechanical design, microcontroller integration, and test automation. The intern will develop and evaluate a mechanical automation solution that can perform controlled and repeatable hot-plug actions for multiple devices under test within an enterprise server environment. Through a structured project plan and technical guidance from engineers, the intern will apply engineering principles to progress from requirements definition and concept development to prototype integration, verification, and technical documentation. The project is developmental and project-based and is not intended to replace routine validation activities performed by regular employees. The intern will apply industrial engineering, lean manufacturing, and data analytics principles to identify opportunities related to productivity, quality, safety, material flow, and operational efficiency. The project may cover Front End of Line, Middle End of Line, Back of Line, or Configure-to-Order manufacturing operations. The intern will gain practical exposure to semiconductor manufacturing while collaborating with Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Test Engineering, Quality, and Planning stakeholders. The project aims to deepen understanding of the interactions between process parameters, equipment performance, and product quality outcomes. The intern will undertake a structured engineering project involving Design of Experiments (DOE), statistical analysis, process characterization, and data-driven optimization techniques. In addition, the intern will explore AI-Enabled approaches to improve engineering productivity, automate data interpretation, and accelerate insight generation from process characterization activities. The project provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in process engineering, equipment operations, and advanced manufacturing technologies within the semiconductor industry.
