Key Responsibilities Define NAND architecture, technology-node, and storage-solution strategies aligned with Micron’s business goals. Develop NAND storage requirements, including performance, reliability, power, packaging, cost, and system-level capabilities. Lead NAND roadmap planning from concept through product lifecycle achievements, using market trends, customer insights, and AI-workload requirements to guide decisions. Own NAND Storage Marketing Requirements Documents and support Technical Requirements Document development. Translate OEM, ecosystem, and business needs into clear product requirements and actionable technology plans. Job Summary: The Senior/Staff Engineer, STPG PE System will lead test development, product engineering and electrical failure analysis for automotive managed NAND and SSD BGA products across qualification, manufacturing ramp, and customer-return phases. The role partners mainly with NAND device, ASIC, firmware, and test engineering teams to deliver robust, cost-efficient test strategies, improve yield, test time, and quality, and secure the required laboratory and test infrastructure. The engineer will also apply AI tools and agents to automate engineering workflows and data analysis, while providing clear technical reports and project updates. Main Responsibilities: . As a Product Engineer in Micron’s Storage Technology and Products Group (STPG), you will play a critical role in enabling world‑leading memory and storage solutions by delivering high‑quality, cost‑effective NAND products from early development through high‑volume manufacturing. You will be responsible for the development, testing, and production of NAND products, ensuring they meet the highest standards of quality and performance with low cost. As a Design Engineer – Design for Test (DFT) in the NVEG organization at Micron Semiconductor Italia, you will be responsible for the integration, optimization, and validation of DFT architectures for advanced NAND Flash memory products. In this role, you will work closely with multi-functional teams to improve testability, product quality, cost efficiency, and time‑to‑market, bringing to bear innovative DFT strategies across digital logic, custom circuits, firmware, and silicon validation. Responsibilities include, but not limited to: • Define, implement, and optimize DFT architectures and test strategies for NAND designs, covering both digital and custom circuit blocks. • Analyze testability and coverage, ensuring compliance with quality, reliability, and manufacturability requirements. • Develop and validate test sequences, NAND test algorithms, and verification methodologies at block and chip level. • Collaborate with multi-functional teams and Product Engineering to support DFT integration, silicon bring-up, debug, and production ramp. • Document DFT architectures, methodologies, and results, contributing to continuous improvement of test quality and efficiency.
