Coinbase Tokenized Equities give eligible non-US users a simple way to buy tokens backed 1:1 by US stocks and ETFs — no brokerage account needed. The tokens are issued out of Abu Dhabi Global Market (ADGM), a regulated financial center overseen by the FSRA, and trade 24/7 onchain. We're hiring an Accounting Manager to be the finance lead for this product. This is a senior individual contributor role for someone who likes to build. You'll own the accounting and reporting model from the ground up — accounting policy, regulatory and legal entity reporting, controls, GL operations, and finance systems — coordinating across Tax, Treasury, FP&A, and controllership, as well as external auditors and regulators. If you like solving hard problems and building from scratch, this role is for you. What You'll Do Build the accounting model from the ground up — covering token issuance and redemption, asset tracking, intercompany flows, and the close process Own regulatory compliance and reporting to the FSRA for this business. In this role, you'll drive Coinbase's regional crypto strategy, manage critical regulatory relationships, and build the operational foundation for our growing business. What You'll Do Build and lead the locally based Abu Dhabi team, managing Coinbase's Middle East crypto business and ADGM legal entity while engaging senior regulators, clients, and industry stakeholders Drive the development and execution of Coinbase's UAE crypto strategy in close collaboration with the Dubai/VARA team Develop operational capacity to grow Coinbase's tokenization business and adjacent opportunities under ADGM Oversee strategic budgeting and resourcing to optimize business impact and ensure alignment with local and global financial frameworks Establish robust governance structures, including controls, compliance programs, and ethical leadership practices that align local operations with global standards Lead ongoing engagement with ADGM and FSRA, cultivating trusted relationships with senior regulators and key external stakeholders Champion Coinbase's culture within the entity, ensuring customer interests are appropriately prioritized
