ABOUT THE ROLE: SpaceXSI is building Colossus, the world’s largest AI supercomputer, right here in Memphis. As a Power Generation Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in powering this groundbreaking infrastructure. You will be responsible for the reliable operation and optimization of our natural gas power generation plants, ensuring uninterrupted, high-efficiency power delivery to our state-of-the-art AI datacenter. ABOUT THE ROLE: The Data Center Engineering team designs training and inference compute clusters from first principles, pushing thermal, electrical, and optical systems to the limit of physics. We operate as a highly cross disciplinary team comprised of mechanical, electrical, optical, and software engineers, all working to maximize the efficiency, reliability, and deployment speed of terrestrial computing to serve rapidly scaling demand. This team owns compute architecture, datacenter network design, rack builds, connectivity, in-house design of our own computers, and the manufacturing line that builds that compute. As a Rack Design Engineer, you will own the rack as a product: structure, power, cooling, service paths, and the physical integration of servers, switches, optics, and liquid cooling from first sketch through production rate. RESPONSIBILITIES: Own mechanical, structural, and integration design of high-density AI compute racks and associated chassis, frames, busbars, manifolds, and cable/fiber raceways Integrate compute, networking, power distribution, and liquid cooling into a buildable, serviceable, high-yield rack architecture Design for the in-house manufacturing

As a Network Connectivity Engineer, you will design, deploy, and qualify large scale fiber optic networks for hundreds of thousands of coherently connected GPUs. You’ll architect systems for maximum bandwidth and minimum latency, collaborating with optical, mechanical, and software engineers to translate your designs into the largest coherent computing networks in the world. RESPONSIBILITIES: Design and plan scalable, future-proof data center connectivity for clusters of hundreds of thousands of GPUs, including structured cabling plants that support evolving architectures and speeds beyond 800G. Working onsite with passionate teams, you’ll tackle hands-on challenges to install and maintain critical network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity. ABOUT THE ROLE: As a Fiber Supervisor at SpaceXSI's Memphis data center, you’ll lead the fiber optic installation and maintenance teams that keep critical network infrastructure online. Working onsite with project management and superintendents, you’ll plan work, direct technicians, and own quality, safety, and schedule on datacenter fiber projects. Expect to stay hands-on, coach the crew, and make sure systems run reliably in support of SpaceXSI's mission of accelerating human scientific discovery through AI. RESPONSIBILITIES: Supervise fiber technicians through all phases of datacenter installation projects, in coordination with the Project Manager and Superintendent Assign daily work, set priorities, and track progress so installations, splices, and repairs finish on schedule and to standard Ensure a safe and productive work environment, including job-site briefings, PPE compliance, and elevation and confined-space practices Develop inspection points and sensor checks so faulty fiber does not degrade system performance Direct troubleshooting, repair, replacement, and installation of fiber optic systems, and verify work before closeout Review and approve replacement of faulty
