ABOUT THE ROLE: SpaceXSI is looking for a highly skilled and versatile OT (Operational Technology) Systems Engineer to implement and support the backend infrastructure for our next-generation controls and industrial software platforms for our physical infrastructure. This role is embedded within the mission IT organization to provide support to dedicated controls engineering organizations while leveraging adjacent IT expertise, tooling, and technologies. This role will balance support of legacy controls support systems with modernization and continuous improvement initiatives. The ideal candidate thrives in high stakes settings, brings a strong sense of urgency balanced with operational excellence, and combines deep OT expertise with IT technologies such as virtualization, VDI, GitOps, network level redundancy and edge compute solutions to create streamlined and secure ICS environments. ABOUT THE ROLE: We are looking for a Manager of Engineering to own the design, build-out, commissioning, and continuous improvement of automation, controls, and electrical systems at SpaceXSI's power generation facility in Southaven. This plant is critical infrastructure for SpaceXSI's AI supercomputers: it must deliver high-reliability power and supporting utilities at scale, with the uptime and response expected of a mission-critical compute campus. If it has a gas or steam turbine control system, a switchgear lineup, a plant electrical distribution network, a SCADA/DCS point, a control loop, or a supporting utility/process system (water, wastewater, fuel gas, HVAC, cooling) that must run reliably, this team designs it, specifies it, commissions it, and keeps it running. As a Manager, you will lead a team of engineers in a high-reliability, fast-paced environment. As a Data Center Controls Network Engineer, you will design, validate, and scale the controls and OT network architectures that support high-density AI data centers. You will work across controls systems, OT infrastructure, telemetry, commissioning, deployment, and operations, partnering with mechanical, electrical, IT/networking, security, and external delivery teams. About the Role We are seeking a mid to senior OT Network Engineer with a strong controls systems background to lead the design and operation of resilient, secure, and scalable OT network architectures for high-density AI data centers. This role translates compute, power, cooling, and operational requirements into practical OT network designs, evaluates vendor solutions, and drives technical decisions across controls infrastructure, telemetry, commissioning, and operations. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience in mission-critical OT environments, including industrial networking, virtualized infrastructure, and OT network operations, with expertise in routing, switching, segmentation, firewall policy, time synchronization, monitoring, and network lifecycle support.
