The Role As a Principal Consultant within Capco's Banking & Payments practice, you'll help leading financial institutions design, transform and modernise their payments capabilities. Combining deep payments expertise with strong consulting and technology knowledge, you'll lead complex engagements from discovery through to solution design and delivery. You'll work closely with senior client stakeholders to define payment strategies, assess current state capabilities, and develop target operating models and technology solutions across domestic and cross-border payment ecosystems. As a trusted advisor, you'll bring industry insight, structured problem solving and strong communication skills to help clients navigate evolving customer expectations, regulatory requirements and industry change. What You'll Do Payments consulting: Lead strategic and transformation initiatives across retail banking payments, helping clients optimise payment processes, operating models and technology capabilities. Discovery and solution design: Facilitate workshops, conduct assessments and lead discovery activities to define business requirements, target-state architecture and delivery roadmaps. Solution architecture: Design end-to-end payment solutions across domestic and cross-border payment ecosystems, ensuring alignment with business objectives, customer needs and regulatory requirements. Client advisory: Act as a trusted advisor to senior stakeholders, providing insights into market trends, emerging technologies and payments innovation.
