About the role We are looking for an experienced Senior Payroll Analyst to join our Global Payroll team and play a key role in the delivery and continuous improvement of payroll across our international markets. This is a senior operational role with responsibility for overseeing payroll activity across multiple countries. You will bring strong payroll expertise, sound judgement and a proactive approach to ensure employees are paid accurately, on time and in compliance with local legislation. Working closely with the Payroll Team, internal HR and People teams, Finance, Tax and external payroll providers, you will take ownership of complex payroll activities, provide subject-matter expertise and act as a key escalation point for payroll issues. The role will also provide opportunities to support international payroll projects, process improvements, system implementations and automation , helping Deliveroo build a scalable and efficient global payroll operation. Partner with local HR, People Operations, Finance and Tax teams to ensure payroll inputs are complete, accurate and delivered within agreed timelines. Review, validate and approve payroll inputs and outputs, identifying discrepancies, trends and potential risks before payroll is finalised.
