Responsibilities: Responsibilities: Identify and characterize new yield issues by tracking probe yields and trends, and explain gaps between target and actual yields. Perform advanced data analysis and characterization to quantify issues, generate an accurate yield pareto to guide the fab on issues limiting yield. Use statistical tools and data-mining techniques to identify root causes and opportunities for improvement. Work closely with the Failure Analysis (FA) team, including Electrical Failure Analysis (EFA) and Physical Failure Analysis (PFA), to correlate electrical signals with probe signatures and data-mining insights, delivering a comprehensive view to process teams for effective issue resolution. Partner with module and inline monitoring teams to ensure timely implementation and monitoring of yield fixes, providing clear handoffs and alignment to drive sustainable improvements. Suggest new ideas and collaborate with the global network to develop best known methods and maintain alignment between sites Apply semiconductor process knowledge, defect inspection, metrology, and process control fundamentals. Partner with global Yield Analysis teams in Boise and Taiwan to execute a follow-the-sun operating model, ensuring rapid response to yield excursions, continuity of issue ownership, timely data analysis, and accelerated learning cycles. Job Responsibilities Yield Loss Accounted For Account for HBM NPI builds across PWF, Assembly, and test through defect breakdown and PFA submission to understand fail mode Work closely with PI to identify defect that is coming from their area to brainstorm for CIP Learn NPI processes, phase gates, and yield best practices Assist in maintaining yield dashboards and trackers. This role is part of the Customer Engineering Technical Leadership function within HIG PSE. The Customer Integration Engineer will focus on technical engagement across product development, system architecture, develop, front-end and back-end process, Package Failure Analysis, Qualification, and Test. The successful candidate will have expertise in one of these subject areas and a strong appetite to learn others on the job. This position emphasizes hands-on technical problem-solving, working with multi-functional groups, and enabling successful integration of advanced HBM products into customer systems. AI adoptation and regular development and use is a must. Lead the Yield Analysis organization to achieve fab yield and quality goals by establishing strategy, priorities, and execution plans focused on Yield Deviation, Yield Tail reduction, yield ramp acceleration, and long-term yield improvement. Own key yield metrics and communicate performance, risks, and recovery plans to site and executive leadership. Establish and drive KPI-based yield management systems including Yield Loss, Static Yield, Yield Tail, Deviation Loss, Root Cause Identification Rate, Time-to-Source, CAPA Closure Rate, PFA Cycle Time, and Issue Tracker Health. Develop forecasting methodologies, dashboards, and operating mechanisms that drive accountability and predictable yield improvement. Provide technical leadership for Model-Based Problem Solving (MBPS) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) by coaching engineers to move beyond symptom identification and achieve verified physical root cause. Drive rigorous problem-solving methodologies including hypothesis testing, fault-tree analysis, 5-Why investigations, DOE development, and statistical validation. Lead cross-functional issue resolution teams by partnering with Process Integration, Process Engineering, RDA, Failure Analysis, Quality, and Manufacturing organizations to prioritize yield opportunities, accelerate containment actions, implement CAPAs, establish robust defense lines, and ensure sustainable issue closure.
