The Principal Product Manager (Product Led Data Contribution and Business Visibility) owns a product-led data contribution ecosystem where small businesses voluntarily attest to and consent to sharing information through a true freemium experience and then upgrade into paid products that enhance profile completeness, trust, and creditworthiness. This role is accountable for designing the loop that turns self-serve participation into measurable business value and monetization, operating at the intersection of product-led growth (PLG), consent-driven data collection, trust signals, and freemium expansion. The Principal Product Manager leads product strategy, development, and lifecycle management, driving product vision, market analysis, and cross-functional collaboration from ideation through launch and ongoing optimization. Responsibilities: Own the consent-based data contribution loop by designing intuitive, low-friction user experiences that drive attestations and explicit consent. Ensure data contribution experiences clearly communicate purpose, usage, and value delivered back to the business. Define and deliver freemium value including profile completeness, trust indicators, and validation features. What is The Role The Context Engine team builds the knowledge layer that AI agents use to work with enterprise data in Elasticsearch. We extract knowledge from any data sources into a structured AI Index, serve it to agents through public APIs, MCP tools and framework integrations, and close the loop with agent traces so that what the engine knows improves from real usage. Any agent can use it: Elastic’s own Agent Builder, Claude Code, LangChain and other third-party harnesses. As a Principal AI Engineer, you own the improvement loop of this product end to end: how agents, automations and skills behave in production, how we observe them, how we evaluate them, and how we ship changes to them safely.
