What you’ll do Act as the technical lead for large parts of the scanner platform: system architecture, codebase structure, and long-term maintainability. Own core runtime foundations: distributed control, state management, fault handling, and reliability. Drive engineering rigor: testability, code quality, review standards, performance regression prevention, and release processes. Build robust observability: logs, metrics, traces, and replayable diagnostics (with privacy constraints). Collaborate with hardware and recon/ML teams to define interfaces, data contracts, timing/synchronization, and failure modes. Lead complex refactors (e.g., message passing / RPC boundaries, modularization, concurrency model) without halting forward progress. What we’re looking for Deep software architecture experience for real-world systems: robotics, instrumentation, medical devices, or other complex distributed products. Strong Python and concurrency background (asyncio, multiprocessing, profiling, performance engineering). Track record of shipping systems that are observable, debuggable, and resilient. Strong technical leadership: clarity, pragmatic trade-offs, and mentoring. Useful experience Building but rock-solid systems: clear interfaces (gRPC/protobuf or equivalent), strong state modeling, and failure handling. High-leverage engineering habits on a lean team: good tests, CI, reproducible dev environments, and fast code review. Practical performance + concurrency work in Python (asyncio, profiling, multiprocessing) and comfort debugging distributed behavior. Security-minded device software: safe defaults, encrypted data paths, and disciplined handling of PII/PHI. Operational thinking: remote updates/management, excellent logging, and diagnostics that make real hardware debuggable.

We’re looking for a technical architecture expert with hands-on development experience to define the architecture of the Retail and Consumer Packaged Goods Platform and collaborate with engineering to build the platform. This is a technical engineering role and requires familiarity with NVIDIA’s GPU acceleration libraries, experience in Retail, CPG, logistics, or marketplaces, and knowledge of enterprise AI architectures will make you an ideal candidate. Join us and take the lead in building the retail platform and help us develop the future of AI in retail! Your mission is to leverage NVIDIA’s existing retail and supply chain blueprints, along with proven workflows and best practices codified through customers and ISV engagements, to define the architecture and build the Retail & CPG platform. You will be responsible for architecting and collaborating with engineering teams across NVIDIA, to build the platform. Built on NVIDIA’s full stack—including Agentic AI, Physical AI, and accelerated computing—this platform will power our three strategic pillars: digital commerce, supply chain, and intelligent stores. What you'll be doing: You will work with Retail & CPG product management, business development, and developer relations teams to harness their deep expertise in supply chain and retail to architect and build a platform that makes it easier for our ecosystem and customers to build AI solutions at scale. The platform will use our NVIDIA Nemo microservices and Nemotron open-source models, with initial priority on Agentic AI for supply chain, digital commerce and employee productivity. This role will initially be an individual contributor with developer experience building AI agents and will collaborate with a strong technical retail and supply chain team, as well as horizontal engineering team(s). Define product, technical vision and architecture Develop platform s

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Snowflake's rise as a revolutionary cloud data warehouse was fueled by a key architectural tenet: separating compute from storage through a world-class metadata engine. Now, as we transition to the “Interoperable Data + AI Cloud”, metadata and open standards are the keys to unlocking the agentic enterprise at scale. AI agents cannot reason over raw data; they require deep context, strict governance, and instant interoperability. To usher in this new era, we are seeking AI-native systems thinkers to architect the foundational substrate that allows autonomous AI to query, understand, and act upon exabyte-scale datasets regardless of whether that data is stored directly within Snowflake or resides externally in a customer managed lakehouse. The Mission: Interoperability and Metadata as the Engine for AI As part of the Snowflake Interoperable Foundations organization, you will lead a 0->1 ground-up redesign of our core metadata and storage architecture. Metadata engineering and open standards (like Apache Iceberg) are the linchpins of Snowflake's future. They are what allow us to bring Snowflake's industry-leading performance and governance to data sitting anywhere in the world. Your mission is to evolve this architecture so that open, multi-format data lakes are not just se
