Company Overview We are building the next generation of cloud security infrastructure, focusing on advanced Data Exfiltration Protection (DXP) and unified Data Movement Policies (DMP). Our mission is to provide seamless, context-aware security that protects sensitive data without hindering developer velocity. We are looking for a visionary Principal Engineer to lead the technical strategy and architecture for our Data Movement and Perimeter control systems. Role Summary As a Principal Engineer in the Data Protection group, you will be the technical lead for the Data Exfiltration Protection (DXP) and Data Movement Policy (DMP) initiatives. You will bridge the gap between high-level security policy and low-level system enforcement, ensuring that our perimeter controls are robust, scalable, and deeply integrated with context-aware access policy frameworks. You will be responsible for the architectural evolution of our egress control systems, moving from simple IP-based rules to sophisticated, content-aware, and identity-driven data movement governance. AS A PRINCIPAL SOFTWARE ENGINEER - IDENTITY, DATA SECURITY AND TRUST AT SNOWFLAKE YOU WILL: Architectural Leadership: Lead the design and implementation of the Data Movement Policy (DMP) framework, ensuring it can handle complex

At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Build Core Data Engineering Primitives at Cloud Scale Data pipelines are foundational infrastructure — when they're fast, correct, and maintainable, customers build on them with confidence. If you've spent the bulk of your career building large-scale data infrastructure — designing streaming or transformation primitives, reasoning hard about consistency and fault tolerance, and owning the systems that run under millions of customer workloads — this role might be for you. You'll be working on the streaming and transformation layer at Snowflake: the constructs that define how customers move, shape, and maintain data. AI has a real presence in this work — in how customers use these pipelines and in how we think about building them — but the core job is hard distributed systems engineering, and that's what we're hiring for. About the Team We build the core data engineering primitives that power Snowflake's streaming and transformation capabilities. From the constructs customers use to define real-time pipelines to the execution fabric that makes those pipelines reliable and cost-efficient at cloud scale, our team owns the full stack of declarative data engineering. We're a small, high-ownership team operating close to the product — which means your decisions ship, your architec

At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Snowflake is redefining how enterprises bring data, applications, and AI together. As autonomous workflows begin taking actions on behalf of users, identity has officially become the new security perimeter. Every single interaction—whether initiated by a human, an application, a workload, or an AI agent—must be continuously authenticated, authorized, and governed. To unlock this next generation of enterprise software, Snowflake requires an identity platform that extends far beyond traditional workforce authentication to seamlessly support machine identities, fine-grained delegation, and policy-driven access at cloud scale. We are looking for a hands-on, high-impact Product Leader to define and build this foundational trust layer. Operating at a highly strategic intersection of product, engineering, partnerships, and executive-level customer engagement , you will own the core infrastructure that allows complex enterprise systems to securely interact, reason over sensitive data, and safely execute actions. AS A PRINCIPAL PRODUCT MANAGER AT SNOWFLAKE, YOU WILL : Set Portfolio Strategy: Own and define the long-term product strategy and roadmap for Snowflake’s IAM ecosystem, factoring in market-shifting competitive trends and technical evolutions.
