We are seeking a senior finance professional with a strategic mindset who thrives in a dynamic, private equity-backed business environment. This person will serve as a trusted financial advisor to the CEO and executive leadership team, providing analytical rigor and strategic insight to drive the company's highest-priority growth initiatives. Spanning corporate strategy, M&A, pricing, R&D investment, and new product commercialization, this role sits at the intersection of finance and corporate strategy in a modern SaaS company. The candidate must be a highly motivated self-starter who can independently frame complex problems, develop actionable recommendations, and communicate with conviction to senior stakeholders. Principal duties and responsibilities: Serve as the primary financial partner to the CEO on strategic initiatives, including market expansion, competitive positioning, and long-range planning Lead end-to-end M&A analysis: target screening, financial modeling, valuation (DCF, LBO, comparable company/transaction analysis), due diligence support, and post-close integration tracking Develop comprehensive market sizing frameworks (TAM/SAM/SOM) and investment theses for new product introductions and R&D allocation decisions Own pricing strategy analytics — building models that evaluate monetization options, price elasticity, packaging structures, and margin impact across the SaaS product portfolio Construct and maintain dynamic financial models that support go-to-market decisions, including customer lifetime value (LTV), customer acquisition cost (CAC), payback periods, and cohort analysis Translate strategic investments into quantified financial outcomes, including IRR, NPV, and scenario-weighted return analyses for board and PE sponsor consumption Play a key role in preparing annual budgets and monthly reforecasts across bookings, revenue, operating expense, and capital expenditure Demonstrate a clear understanding of financial results, inclu

The team sits at the intersection of finance and technical infrastructure, translating usage trends — cloud compute, storage, and AI spend — into forecasts and cost narratives that inform company-wide investment decisions. Key cross-functional partners include Engineering, Procurement, and FP&A, among others. The Difference You Will Make: This role owns the understanding, forecasting, and influencing of Airbnb's total cloud and AI spend, spanning traditional AWS infrastructure and AI. Success looks like a cost narrative leadership can act on, and identified efficiency opportunities that measurably bend the cost curve without degrading product or employee experience. This includes leading planning cycles (FY26 close-out, FY27 guidance) and driving month-over-month rigor in cost variance analysis.
