The Boeing CompanyBoeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) has an exciting opportunity for a Procurement Multi-Family Manager (Level K) to join our dynamic team in Tukwila, Washington or Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
Manage, lead and grow a team of 15 Air Vehicle E-7 Supplier Performance employees. The team consists of Supplier Program Managers and Supply Base Managers with personnel located in Oklahoma City, Seattle, and virtual. The ideal candidate will have the ability to motivate and lead this team to ensure system design and development, part build and delivery, as well as product sustainment for the supply base associated with the E-7 platform. There will also be a heavy need for understanding emergent support of an aircraft production facility. Setting the right expectations and building the optimal team are the basic needs to make this position successful.
Position Responsibilities:
- Acts as an authorized agent of the company with responsibility for managing all supplier related activities and the authority to commit company resources through contracts and agreements.
- Manages employees from multiple Supplier Management and Procurement disciplines performing activities related to the acquisition of goods and services in support of company operations, supplier assessment and performance improvement, management and improvement of supply chain management and processes and supplier diversity.
- Develops and executes project and process plans, implements policies and procedures and sets operational goals.
- Acquires resources for projects and processes, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements.
- Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports.
- Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes.

- More than 5 years of experience negotiating and executing contracts with suppliers
