Product Design Lead, Growth - Codex

About the Team OpenAI’s mission is to ensure that artificial general intelligence benefits all of humanity. Our product teams work across research, engineering, product, data, and design to bring OpenAI’s technology to people and businesses around the world. Design plays a critical role in making powerful AI intuitive, useful, and trustworthy. We hold a high bar for quality and build experiences that earn users’ confidence, while moving quickly and learning from real-world feedback. We favor early validation and continuous refinement over waiting until every detail is perfect. About the Role We’re looking for a Product Design Leader to shape how startups, small businesses, and growing teams discover, adopt, and unlock lasting value from Codex and ChatGPT. You’ll lead design across the B2B growth journey, creating experiences that turn the potential of AI into meaningful, everyday impact for this user base. This role is a mix of team leadership and hands-on design execution. You’ll lead and develop a small team of designers, contribute directly to high-impact projects, and help set the standard for impactful, simple, user-centric experiences. You balance exceptional craft with momentum, creating a culture where the team launches, learns, and improves quickly. You already use tools such as Codex to extend what you can build. As a leader, you help designers strengthen their judgment, confidence, and influence through clear and actionable feedback. You’re also a highly effective cross-functional partner who brings people together, navigates ambiguity, and builds alignment through clear communication and collaborative problem-solving. Codex is on an extraordinary trajectory, and this role offers a rare opportunity to work across both sides of the product: the consumer experiences through which people first discover and adopt our technology, and the business experiences that help teams use it together. You’ll bring a high bar for craft, strong product judgment, and comfor

About Sentry Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the Role Sentry already has a startup program: credits, partner deals with YC and a16z, a landing page with a terminal theme that developers actually think is cool. What we don't have is someone whose full-time job is making this program a real growth engine. That's this role. You'll own startup marketing end-to-end: the partner ecosystem, the community presence, the acquisition programs, the brand in rooms full of founders and early engineers. You'll take what exists today and turn it into something that makes Sentry the default monitoring choice for every new company shipping code. This role reports to the Head of Enterprise Marketing (yes, we get how this can be confusing, but she’s pretty cool) and works across Growth, Product Marketing, and DevEx. You'll have real autonomy to shape the strategy and build programs from scratch – but you'll also need to execute quickly, (kind of – we can explain more) measure what works, and kill what doesn't. In this role you will Build and scale startup partnerships. Expand relationships with accelerators, incubators, VC platforms, and startup deal aggregators. Make Sentry's credits program a no-brainer inclusion in every startup perks stack. Own the startup acquisition funnel. Design programs that move early-stage companies from free plan → credits program → paid customers → expansion. Instrument everything so we know where the pipeline is and where it leaks. Be Sentry's face in the startup ecosystem. Show up at demo days, founder events, and SF tech week. Build relationships with the people building the next generation of companies. Not because it's a line item, but because you'

Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the role Sentry is looking for an Engineering Manager to lead our Growth team (internally called "Value Discovery") and help expand our product-led business by helping customers discover and get the most out of our platform. At Sentry, we do growth with an explicit bias for customer value. Our experiments are rooted in strong product sense and empathy for developers, not conversion pressure. We never surprise developers with new charges or push features they don't need. In a binary tradeoff between doing good by the customer or good by the business, the customer always wins. You'll collaborate closely with several areas of the business including Product, BizOps, Data, Design, and GTM to identify the moments in a developer's workflow where Sentry can deliver more value, make that value easier to find, and support that your approach works with data. In this role you will You'll lead a team of engineers, set its priorities, and be accountable for the metrics it moves. This is a new role, and the roadmap is yours to define and execute in partnership with design and data teams. Lead work across Sentry's self-serve funnel — signup and onboarding, first-run activation moments in-product, trial and upgrade paths, and pricing and billing surfaces in partnership with the Billing team — largely in our Python/Django and TypeScript/React codebase Evolve our experimentation foundations, in close partnership with our Data team — flagging, instrumentation, and readouts are real but far from finished Run a fast, disciplined experimentation loop where hypotheses are argued before they're built Hold conversion and activation alongside ch

You’ll manage and develop a team of eight or more product designers working across the customer journey—from discovery and onboarding through activation, engagement, retention, and expansion. You’ll create the conditions for designers to do their best work, helping them navigate ambiguity, make thoughtful product decisions, and ship cohesive experiences at scale.
