Our mission is to increase the GDP of the internet, and we have a staggering amount of work ahead. That means you have an unprecedented opportunity to put the global economy within everyone’s reach while doing the most important work of your career. About the team Sail is Stripe’s user interface platform and design system. We build the design language, components, tools, and front-end foundations that product teams use to create coherent, accessible, responsive, and high-quality experiences. Designers on Sail work closely with engineers and designers across Stripe to turn recurring product needs into durable solutions. What you’ll do As a Product Designer on Sail, you’ll contribute to the visual and interaction foundations of Stripe’s products. With support from experienced designers and engineers, you’ll work on scoped components, patterns, guidance, and tools. This role is a good fit for a designer who cares deeply about visual craft, enjoys thinking in systems, and wants to understand how design decisions become production interfaces. Responsibilities Design and refine user interface components, patterns, and foundations for use across Stripe products Create polished, coherent interfaces across interaction states, themes, and responsive layouts Partner with front-end engineers to understand constraints and carry designs into production Contribute to Figma libraries, prototypes, specifications, documentation, and examples Gather input from product teams, share work, and iterate based on feedback Who you are We’re looking for someone who meets the minimum requirements to be considered for the role. About the Role In this role, you’ll lead and evolve the design system foundations for ChatGPT. You’ll make nuanced design judgment explicit and usable across product teams, establishing the principles, patterns, and standards that enable coherent, high-quality experiences at scale. A paramount part of this role is raising OpenAI’s craft bar. This work extends beyond maintaining a component library: you’ll define what excellent product design looks and feels like, establish clear guidance for choosing and applying interface patterns, and ensure that new ChatGPT experiences strengthen a coherent system across platforms. Working closely with research, engineering, product, and design, you’ll create a continuous learning loop between design principles, product experiences, evaluation, and evolving technology—shaping a system that becomes more capable and expressive as ChatGPT grows. This role is based in our San Francisco HQ. We offer relocation assistance to new employees. In this role you will: Define an exceptionally high standard for craft and taste, translating that standard into principles, guidance, and examples that elevate the quality of ChatGPT. Own and evolve ChatGPT’s design foundations, including typography, sizing, spacing, layout, motion, accessibility, and responsive behavior. Establish a shared source of truth across platforms and improve the systems connecting tokens, components, patterns, widgets, learning experiences, and app-like product experiences. Build a comprehensive design systems framework with clear, opinionated guidance about when and how product teams should use different interface patterns. Translate design judgment into durable standards and use prototyping and evaluation workflows to test experiences, identify recurring issues, and improve the system. Identify promising patterns across emerging product experiences and turn them into reusable, documented foundations. Partner with research, engineering, product, and design to evolve the d

At Vanta, our mission is to help businesses earn and prove trust. We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. Vanta's Design Systems team is the foundational layer that powers visual consistency, design quality, and engineering velocity across all of Vanta's product surfaces. We build and maintain Vanta's shared component library (Alpaca), design tokens, interaction patterns, and documentation, enabling product designers and engineers to ship high-quality, cohesive experiences at scale. As Vanta grows across GRC, Trust, and new product areas, and as AI and agentic experiences become a first-class part of the product, Design Systems is increasingly responsible for a harder problem than static component consistency: building a system that can flex for AI-driven, runtime-composed UI and agent chat and canvas experiences, without losing the craft and coherence that makes Alpaca trustworthy across the org. This role sits at that intersection. You'll help define how a design system stays foundational when the product itself is becoming more dynamic and model-aware. What you’ll do as a Staff Product Designer at Vanta: Lead the strategy, evolution, and execution of Alpaca, ensuring it scales with the needs of a rapidly growing, increasingly AI-driven product organization Extend the design system to support AI and agent product patterns, including agent chat and canvas experiences and components that need to adapt based on runtime or model context Partner with product designers and engineers across every product team to define, document, and ship new components, patterns, and guidelines Establish and evolve governance models, contribution frameworks, and quality standards that let every designer at Vanta build consistently, including for AI-nat

We believe that security should be monitored and verified continuously, and we empower companies to practice better security and prove it with ease. Vanta has a kind and talented team, and while some have prior security experience, many have been successful at Vanta without it. The Design Systems team creates the visual and interaction foundations that help Vanta deliver coherent, accessible, and high-quality experiences across the product. This team partners across the EPD organization to build the systems, patterns, and practices that enable product teams to move faster while maintaining a high bar for craft and usability. As a Staff Visual Product Designer focused on Design Systems at Vanta, you will shape the visual language of our product and the systems that bring it to life. You will define and evolve scalable patterns across our design and engineering ecosystems, partner closely with product designers and engineers, and help create a cohesive experience for customers navigating complex security and compliance workflows. You’ll combine exceptional visual craft with systems thinking, product judgment, and the ability to influence across teams. What you’ll do as a Staff Visual Product Designer, Design Systems at Vanta: Define and evolve Vanta’s visual design language across product surfaces, creating a cohesive, distinctive, and scalable customer experience. Set a high bar for visual craft across typography, color, layout, iconography, illustration, motion, data visualization, and interaction details. Partner with Design Systems, Product, Engineering, Research, Content Design, and Brand teams to translate customer and business needs into effective system-level solutions. Own and evolve foundational design system elements, including design tokens, component visual states, responsive behavior, theming, density, and platform-specific adaptations. Datadog is entering a new chapter in how our product looks, feels, and operates. Our Design Lab is defining a new visual direction for the platform, and we’re looking for a Senior Staff Visual Product Designer to help turn that direction into a coherent product experience. Datadog is dense, technical, and used by people working through complex problems—often under real pressure. The challenge is not simply applying a new aesthetic. It is rethinking hierarchy, layout, navigation, interaction, and product patterns so the experience becomes clearer, more cohesive, and more expressive without losing the power our users rely on. This is a hands-on product design leadership role for someone who combines strong visual judgment with deep product and systems thinking. You’ll work alongside visual designers, motion designers, product designers, Design Systems, and Engineering to ensure the new direction changes how Datadog works—not just how it looks. What You'll Do Co-develop Datadog’s next visual direction by applying and stress-testing it across representative product journeys. Translate visual principles into concrete decisions about hierarchy, layout, navigation, information architecture, interaction, and behavior. Use visual language to clarify complex, data-dense experiences — hierarchy, density, and attention. Hold the visual quality bar across work you don't own, and align teams around it. Prototype, test, and refine new patterns before they become systemized. Partner deeply with Product Design, Design Systems, and engineering to turn successful concepts into durable system guidance and implementation. Create clear artifacts, pilots, and narratives that help teams adopt the direction and raise the product quality bar. Influence stakeholders across design, engineering, product, and executive partners. You will report directly to the Design Director and work as part of a small, focused team defining the future state before it scales across hundreds
