About the Team Critical Harm Operations sits within User Safety & Risk Operations and builds enforcement systems for Frontier Risk and Material Harm that are accurate, fast, defensible, and built to scale. We turn policy intent into operational readiness, review standards, quality systems, escalation paths, automation guardrails, and durable cross-functional operating models. About the Role We are looking for an exceptional Program Manager to help build durable operating systems and run some of OpenAI’s most complex safety operations. The core need is a high-agency operator who can take an ambiguous problem, create the right structure, align cross-functional partners, and drive the work through execution. This role will move across Critical Harm priorities as needs evolve. You may step into operationalizing national security or violent-activities workflows, support wellbeing and Frontier Risk initiatives, or help scale programs such as Trusted Access. Deep domain expertise is helpful but not required; the strongest candidates will learn quickly, exercise excellent judgment, and make complex programs move. In this role, you will: Lead strategic operational builds across priority workflows from problem statement to implemented operating model, including scope, owners, milestones, risks, success measures, and execution cadence. Translate policy, safety, technical, legal, and operational constraints into workflows, requirements, playbooks, escalation paths, and decision-making structures that teams can execute. Coordinate with User Ops leadership, Product Policy, Integrity, Safety Systems, i2, Legal, Product, Engineering, Support, vendors, and other partners to resolve dependencies and keep critical work moving. Move in and out of workflows as priorities shift—standing up new programs, stabilizing operations, improving handoffs, and transitioning durable ownership to the right team. Use operational data and frontline signals to identify bottlenecks, quality gaps, ca
Project Manager
Private EmployerWe are looking for a hands-on Project Manager with 4-5 years of experience driving technical programs within engineering teams. The ideal candidate has strong command of SDLC processes, is fluent with Atlassian tooling, and has a track record of managing stakeholders across product, engineering, and senior leadership. This role requires someone who can run day-to-day program management with an agentic, ownership-driven mindset — proactively identifying risks, unblocking teams, and reporting on productivity without needing constant direction. Key Responsibilities • SDLC & Program Delivery: Plan, manage, and drive execution of technical programs across the full SDLC — from requirements and design through development, testing, release, and post-launch support. • Technical Program Management: Own sprint planning, backlog grooming support, release schedules, and cross-team dependency tracking for engineering programs. • Atlassian Tooling: Configure, maintain, and drive adoption of Jira, Confluence, and related Atlassian tools for project tracking, workflows, dashboards, and documentation. • Stakeholder Management: Partner closely with product managers, engineering leads, and senior leadership to align on priorities, timelines, trade-offs, and status; run steering/status meetings and executive updates. • Productivity Reporting: Track, analyze, and report team and program productivity metrics (velocity, cycle time, throughput, sprint predictability) and translate them into actionable insights for leadership. • Risk Management: Proactively identify, log, and mitigate program and delivery risks; maintain risk registers and drive timely resolution of blockers and issues. • Agentic Program Ops: Independently manage day-to-day program operations — standups, follow-ups, documentation, and coordination — with an agentic, self-driven approach that minimizes hand-holding. • Documentation & Reporting: Maintain clear, up-to-date program documentation, RAID logs, roadmaps, an
About the Role This role will serve as a key execution partner to the GenAI Customer Compliance Manager, with a strong focus on supporting GenAI delivery workflows through embedded compliance operations and Legal coordination. The GenAI Compliance Operations & Programs Associate will sit at the intersection of Delivery, Ops, and Legal, ensuring that compliance considerations are integrated early in the project lifecycle, risks are clearly identified and prioritized, and Legal is engaged with the right context at the right time. By owning execution, coordination, and delivery integration, this role frees the Customer Compliance Manager to focus on strategy, governance, and risk frameworks. The role requires strong operational ownership, comfort with ambiguity, and the ability to drive alignment across fast-moving, cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities Compliance Review Operations & Legal Coordination Manage end-to-end compliance review workflows for GenAI projects — from early-stage intake through review, approval, launch, and verification — in close partnership with Engagement Management and Delivery. Evaluate incoming work for compliance risk signals (e.g., data sensitivity, copyright exposure, privacy concerns); triage and prioritize requests for Legal based on risk, scope, and delivery timelines. Partner with Engagement Management to translate and execute risk mitigation at both the project and customer level, gather operational input to develop and prioritize systematic compliance controls, and train/educate Ops stakeholders on common or emerging compliance risks. Ensure Legal receives clear, structured, and actionable context; coordinate reviewers across Legal and internal teams to support SLA adherence. Identify workflow friction points and contribute to improving processes, templates, and prioritization frameworks. Maintain dashboards to track throughput, bottlenecks, SLAs, and risk trends.
