About the role As an Electro Mechanical Technician at Lab37 Robotics, you will be responsible for assembling, testing, and supporting the production of advanced robotic food production systems. This role is hands-on and requires strong attention to detail, comfort working with mechanical and electrical assemblies, and the ability to follow documented work instructions accurately and consistently. You will work closely with engineering teams to build systems, improve assembly processes, identify quality issues, and help ensure that products are assembled safely, correctly, and repeatably. This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys hands-on technical work, takes pride in high-quality builds, and wants to grow within a fast-moving robotics manufacturing environment. What you’ll do Assemble electro-mechanical systems, subassemblies, and components according to work instructions, drawings, checklists, and standard operating procedures. Perform mechanical assembly, wiring, harness routing, fluid routing, sensor installation, actuator installation, and other hands-on build tasks. Follow established quality checks and test procedures to verify that assemblies are complete, accurate, and functioning as intended. Work closely with the Lead Factory Technician to clarify instructions, resolve build issues, and support production priorities. About the role Lab37 Robotics is seeking an EDS/Schematic/Harness Engineer to own the electrical distribution system, system schematics, and wire-harness design and release for our robotic food-production systems. Working closely with the electrical system architect, this engineer will translate the overall electrical architecture into robust, serviceable, and manufacturable power and data distribution designs in an enterprise E-CAD platform, while providing analysis and recommendations on architecture, component selection, interfaces, packaging, and implementation tradeoffs. The role will carry designs from schematic and harness development through prototype, validation, supplier build, production release, and ongoing field support, while establishing and maintaining the E-CAD ecosystem, including libraries, documentation standards, drawings, wire lists, BOMs, and revision controls required for a scalable electrical design process.
