Robotics Software Engineer

Why RoboForce RoboForce is an AI robotics company developing Physical AI–powered Robo-Labor for dull, dirty, and dangerous work. The company’s robots are engineered for demanding industrial environments, with a focus on real-world deployment and scalability. We are seeking a Senior / Staff Robotics Engineer, Motion Planning to own the local mobility and safety stack for our fleet. In this role, you will bridge the gap between AI-driven perception and physical hardware execution. You will consume traversability and semantic costmaps generated by our AI team and translate them into safe, dynamically feasible, and deterministic motion. You are solving the physics of mobility on unpredictable terrain, ensuring our humanoid platform respects its physical limits, shifting center of mass, and traction constraints. Responsibilities Dynamic Motion Planning: Architect and implement advanced local planners (e.g., optimization-based approaches like MPC, MPPI, or custom contouring control) that translate AI-generated routes into trajectories that a heavy, non-holonomic base can physically execute on uneven terrain. AI Integration & Costmap Consumption: Build the high-performance C++ pipelines that ingest the AI team's neural network outputs (semantic maps, learned costmaps) in real-time and convert them into deterministic mathematical constraints for the planner. Center of Mass (CoM) Aware Navigation: Ensure local planners dynamically adjust to real-time changes in the robot's Center of Mass caused by the lifting column and dual-arm payloads. Your trajectories must guarantee stability and prevent tipping on slopes or rough ground. Deterministic Safety Architectures: AI models hallucinate. You will build the deterministic C++ safety layer and fallback behaviors that override AI inputs if a commanded path violates physical safety constraints or if off-the-shelf SLAM tracking drops. WBC Integration: Architect the local planning interfaces to seamlessly pass base trajectories, v

Why RoboForce RoboForce is an AI robotics company developing Physical AI–powered Robo-Labor for dull, dirty, and dangerous work. The company’s robots are engineered for demanding industrial environments, with a focus on real-world deployment and scalability. We are seeking Senior / Staff Robotics Engineer, Manipulation to own the arm autonomy stack. You will architect the algorithms that allow our robot to reach, grasp, and manipulate objects safely and intelligently. You will bridge the gap between high-level planning and low-level control, ensuring our robot can interact with the world with both precision and compliance. Responsibilities Advanced Motion Planning & Trajectory Generation: You will architect the algorithms that drive high-DOF arm motion in dynamic environments. This involves implementing constrained motion planners that generate smooth, jerk-limited trajectories in real-time. You will also solve the "Whole Body" control problem, coordinating the mobile base and the manipulator arm simultaneously to extend the robot's workspace and maintain stability during heavy lifting tasks. Interaction Control & Compliance: You will develop the low-level control strategies that enable the robot to physically interact with the world safely. This includes designing and tuning impedance/admittance controllers that allow the robot to modulate stiffness based on force feedback—essential for tasks like opening heavy doors or plugging in connectors. Teleoperation & Human-Robot Interface: You will build the mathematical engine behind our remote manipulation capabilities. You are responsible for the logic that translates human operator inputs into feasible, safe robot motions. You will design the control mapping and assistance layers that ensure remote manipulation feels intuitive and stable, managing the complex translation between human intent and the robot's physical constraints without compromising safety. Requirements Experience: Ph.D. in Robot

Why RoboForce RoboForce is an AI robotics company developing Physical AI–powered Robo-Labor for dull, dirty, and dangerous work. The company’s robots are engineered for demanding industrial environments, with a focus on real-world deployment and scalability. We are hiring a Lead AI Native Engineer to build RoboForce’s vertical agents and shared agent foundation. Reporting to the co-founder, you will turn frontier models into systems for strategy and engineering. This is a hands-on technical leadership role: you will write code, set architecture, and enable agent development—not lead People programs or organizational transformation. Responsibilities Build vertical agents. Own end-to-end agents for high-value workflows across research, software, hardware, data, and operations—from problem definition through production use. Establish the agent foundation. Build reusable primitives for models, tools, orchestration, context, memory, retrieval, permissions, human approval, and long-running execution. Create the context layer. Connect agents to trusted data through APIs, pipelines, MCP servers, and integrations with clear provenance and access control. Own evaluation and reliability. Build benchmarks, regression tests, tracing, monitoring, and failure-analysis loops across quality, latency, cost, security, and resilience. Advance frontier agent usage. Evaluate new models, coding agents, SDKs, and patterns, then turn useful capabilities into maintainable systems rather than demos. Support strategic initiatives. Help company leadership apply agents and analytical systems to market and customer intelligence, partnerships, fundraising, diligence, scenario analysis, and executive decisions. Provide technical leadership. Set architecture and engineering standards, review designs and code, and create reusable patterns for the technical team. Requirements 5+ years in software engineering, applied AI, ML systems, or a related field, with strong zero-to-one technical judgment. Exper

The company's robots are engineered for demanding industrial environments, with a focus on real-world deployment and scalability. We are looking for a Lead AI Research Engineer, Embodied Systems to lead and own the engineering of the systems that turn embodied AI into real-world robot behavior. You will be the technical owner and lead for the full embodied systems stack — the onboard AI system, the data collection system, the teleoperation systems, and the on-robot reinforcement learning system — driving the direction hands-on and closing the loop between data, models, and action in the physical world. Responsibilities Lead and own, from the engineering side, the embodied systems that power RoboForce's data flywheel — the onboard AI (inference) system, the data collection system, the teleoperation systems and the on-robot reinforcement learning system. Set the technical direction and architecture for how learned models run, are evaluated, and improve on real robots. Deliver these systems end-to-end on physical robots — from bring-up through reliable, real-time operation in demanding industrial environments. Own on-robot deployment and closed-loop evaluation of policies, turning real-world performance into measurable improvements. Partner with and influence the robotics software team and the ML research team to align interfaces and priorities across the stack. Grow the direction — mentor engineers and raise the technical bar for embodied systems work. Requirements Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, or related field with significant relevant experience, or a PhD degree. Track record of leading complex robotic or embodied systems end-to-end and setting technical direction for other engineers. Strong proficiency in both C++ and Python, with solid systems programming and real
