Position Summary As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be a critical guardian of quality for the R&D team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining the automated testing frameworks that ensure our reusable assets are robust, reliable, and bug-free. You will embed a "quality-first" mindset within the team, working closely with developers to implement comprehensive test strategies and integrate them into our CI/CD pipeline. Role Overview You will own backend quality engineering for the Banking team, covering the systems that sit at the core of how OpenFX moves and accounts for money: ledgers, payouts, reconciliation, settlement, and the services around them. This is a hands-on SDET role with significant ownership over how we test complex backend systems. You will work directly with backend engineers and product teams to build automation into the development lifecycle, identify failure modes early, and make sure critical money flows remain correct under real-world conditions. You will inherit a growing automation setup, but there is still significant room to shape the architecture, tooling, quality standards, and testing strategy.
