What You'll Do: Define and maintain EWIS architecture, including wiring routing, separation, protection, and termination strategies. ​ Develop and manage EWIS requirements and compliance documents per FAA/EASA regulations. ​ Conduct zonal analyses to ensure segregation, redundancy, and safety compliance. ​ Support trade studies to optimize EWIS routing for BWB and nontraditional layouts, balancing weight, maintainability, and safety. ​ Collaborate with systems teams (avionics, electrical power, propulsion, environmental control, structures) for EWIS integration. ​ Coordinate with design teams on harness design, installation requirements, and connector selection. ​ Assist in developing EWIS design tools, digital mock-ups, and routing databases. ​ Prepare and present technical documentation for certification authorities and internal design reviews. ​ Provide support during manufacturing, installation, and testing phases. ​ What You Bring: Bachelor’s or Master’s in Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field. ​ Experience in EWIS architecture development for transport or commercial aircraft. ​ Strong understanding of FAA/EASA Part 25 EWIS requir

We are seeking a Senior Systems Safety Engineer to lead and execute aircraft-level and system-level safety activities. This role requires deep expertise in 14 CFR Part 25 development programs and hands-on experience applying ARP4761 and related safety processes across complex aircraft systems. This position will accomplish JetZero’s integration of systems and subsystems alongside the manufacturing efforts of Scaled Composites. Aircraft Integration Engineers, including Senior level, will support development of work instructions and provide the on-site technical direction for in-process build and integration efforts in Mojave. Duties include shop coordination of weekly tasking with Scaled Composites, as well as overall management of JetZero’s onsite team execution. Key Responsibilities Design, build, and maintain simulation and validation infrastructure for aircraft systems, including discrete simulations of avionics, sensors, power distribution, flight controls, and embedded software. Develop and operate Software-in-the-Loop (SITL) and Hardware-in-the-Loop (HITL) frameworks to support rapid development, regression testing, and system validation across flight autonomy and embedded stacks. Build software infrastructure to emulate bare-metal drivers, avionics peripherals, and aircraft system behaviors, enabling early validation, fault injection, and failure-mode testing. Create and scale automated test pipelines that integrate simulation and HIL into CI/CD workflows to continu
