Role Overview We're hiring a Senior Backend Engineer for our Trading team — the team that owns the client's entire trade experience. Trading owns quote generation, pricing strategy, the spread engine, and the trade lifecycle across GUI, API, and soon conversational AI. Our north star is Total Payment Volume, with Gross Revenue as the control metric. Every trade a client places moves through the systems this team builds. You will own significant parts of the Client Trading Engine and Pricing Engine end-to-end — design, build, ship, and operate. This is a hands-on senior IC role with high ownership and accountability - the pricing logic you write today shows up in tomorrow's revenue numbers. We're specifically looking for someone with a trading background — you've built systems where a quote had to be correct and fast, and where a bug meant real money. Think a crypto exchange, brokerage, or trading platform (CoinDCX, Groww, CoinSwitch Kuber, or similar). Key Responsibilities Design, build, and operate services across the trade path — quoting, pricing, spread application, and trade lifecycle management. Role Overview We're hiring a backend-heavy Full Stack Engineer for our Payments team — the team that owns how money actually moves for our clients. Payments owns corridor expansion (EUR, MXN, COP, AED, and beyond), the operationalization of our EU licenses (safeguarding of customer funds, transaction monitoring), and the payments product across GUI and API. Our north star is payment volume moved reliably, with corridor success rate and on-time settlement as the control metrics. You will own the systems on that money path. This is where a client's payment gets initiated, routed to the right partner, tracked through cut-offs and settlement, and reconciled — and where a failure is not a bug ticket but stuck money. You will own the backend of these flows — partner integrations, payment lifecycle state machines, webhooks, retries, and idempotency — and be trusted with the correctness of what actually happens to the money. Two teams sit inside this scope: Trading owns the client's entire trade experience — quote generation, pricing strategy, the spread engine, and the trade lifecycle across GUI, API, and soon conversational AI. Its north star is Total Payment Volume, with Gross Revenue as the control metric. Hedging owns inventory and exposure management, risk management, hedging across venues through smart routing, market making, and WAC / PnL / net revenue calculation. You will be the senior-most individual contributor across both, responsible for the Client Trading Engine, Pricing Engine, Risk Management Engine, and Smart Hedging. This is a hands-on role. You will write code, set architectural direction, and be the person the organisation trusts to get the trade and risk path right. The problems here are genuinely hard and often under-defined. You'll take large architectural bets in a domain where correctness is measured in real money and latency is measured on a live client trade.
