About Sentry Software runs the world and the pace is faster than ever. Sentry helps developers fix errors and performance issues before users notice, so teams can spend less time firefighting and more time building. Trusted by 200,000+ organizations, Sentry is today’s application monitoring standard and our team is building its AI-native future. About the role Seer runs agents against real production problems for Sentry's customers. That means long-running jobs, lots of tool calls, messy real-world data, and a cost bill that matters. We need a Senior engineer to build the platform those agents run on, so product teams can ship new AI features without rebuilding the plumbing every time. In this role you will Build state-of-the-art agentic AI platforms to triage, debug, and solve real production issues Make every run debuggable: traces, cost and latency per run, and enough context to explain a bad answer Build eval and rollout tooling so we can swap models without guessing Keep it flexible enough that next quarter's model or protocol is an upgrade, not a rewrite Leverage Sentry’s novel (and massive) dataset of errors, spans, and profiles Own major AI initiatives, building alongside developers and product teams You'll love this job if you Are driven by impact and enjoy working on high-stakes, high-visibility projects Enjoy building things. You will have the opportunity to join the AI/ML team as one of its foundational members Thrive in cross-functional teams and enjoy building features alongside developers and product teams Qualifications You have 5+ years building production systems, including LLM-backed products, and can point to one people relied on You write solid production Python and TypeScript You have good distributed-systems instincts: timeouts, idempotency, failure modes Model training experience is a plus, not a requirement The base salary range (or hourly wage range, if applicable) that Sentry reasonably expects to pay for this position is $155,000 to $400,

About the role As a Senior Software Engineer on the AI Enablement team, you will build the internal platforms, primitives, and guardrails that make AI a trusted co-pilot for employees across Chime. You’ll work on systems like Archimedes , Bosun , and easyRAG that power internal AI assistants, developer workflows, and retrieval-backed applications. These platforms make it easier for teams across the company to build, adopt, and scale LLM-powered tools safely and effectively. This team defines Chime’s golden paths for AI : opinionated but flexible patterns that help teams move quickly while maintaining safety, reliability, cost control, and governance. In this role, you’ll help turn emerging AI capabilities into durable, reusable platform features that can be adopted across the company. You’ll partner closely with Platform Engineering, Security, Risk, Legal, and product teams to build scalable, well-governed systems that support internal AI use cases from early prototyping through production adoption. In this role, you can expect to Build and evolve internal AI platforms such as Archimedes, Bosun, and easyRAG , enabling teams to develop and scale LLM-powered applications and workflows Design and implement reusable platform capabilities such as APIs, SDKs, templates, and shared services that make it easier to build safe, high-quality AI-powered tools Prototype and productionize new AI capabilities, identifying high-leverage use cases and turning successful patterns into durable platform features Define and improve Chime’s golden path patterns for LLM usage, balancing developer velocity with safety, reliability, and cost efficiency Develop systems that let teams launch AI-powered assistants and workflows in a standardized, observable, and governed way Establish evaluation, observability, and cost-management practices across AI systems, including quality, latency, safety, and spend Partner with Security, Risk, and Legal to implement practical guardrails for responsible A

About the Team The Agent Platform team builds the runtime and model orchestration layer that powers Decagon’s agents in production. This is the orchestration layer that turns workflows, tools and guardrails into a reliable, low-latency, and delightful experience for end users. At the core of this work is the agent harness: the routing, execution logic, tool orchestration, and control-plane systems that determine how an agent behaves in a live conversation. The team owns the full execution lifecycle of each conversation—from selecting workflows and orchestrating multiple models (e.g., router/planner/supervisor patterns), to coordinating tool calls, enforcing safety constraints, and communicating back to the user. The team operates across both real-time systems (e.g., voice interactions with strict latency requirements) and longer-horizon execution (supporting more complex reasoning and workflows). Our research shows that an agent’s task execution reliability increasingly depends on the orchestration
