Senior Software Engineer | Aura Platform

Salary range: $225k - $300k | Equity: 0.15% - 0.35% | In-Person: NYC About Datalab Datalab trains models that read documents reliably at scale. The world's most important information is trapped in PDFs, scans, and files that can't easily be parsed, and getting it out correctly matters. From frontier AI labs processing training data to Fortune 500s like Siemens extracting decades of engineering records, Datalab is where businesses turn to when extraction has to be right. We’re at high 7-figure ARR. Anthropic, Legora, Booz Allen, and ElevenLabs are customers. And we have hundreds more across FAANG, frontier AI labs, healthcare, finance, government, and legal. Our tools, chandra, surya, marker, and lift, have 70,000+ GitHub stars and broad developer mindshare. We're backed by founding members of OpenAI, FAIR, and Hugging Face. Role Overview We’re looking for a fullstack engineer who wants to build the interfaces, tools, and infrastructure that help developers and enterprises use our models. You’ll work across the stack to shape how people interact with OCR, extraction, and document-understanding systems. That includes building core inference workflows, creating intuitive UI for complex parsing tasks, and improving the developer experience across our open-source repos and API. This is a high-ownership role that blends engineering, product thinking, and community engagement. You will work closely with the founders and the rest of the team to ship features, improve performance, and make our technology accessible to a global community of builders. As a small and fast-moving team, roles are fluid. You should enjoy working across backend, frontend, performance, and user-facing surfaces. Your work will directly influence how teams evaluate and deploy our models. Day to day, you will: Ship features to our open source repos, API, and internal tooling. Design and build frontend features that make document parsing more interactive and understandable. Optimize inference performanc

At Snowflake, we are powering the era of the agentic enterprise. To usher in this new era, we seek AI-native thinkers across every function who are energized by the opportunity to reinvent how they work. You don’t just use tools; you possess an innate curiosity, treating AI as a high-trust collaborator that is core to how you solve problems and accelerate your impact. We look for low-ego individuals who thrive in dynamic and fast-moving environments and move with an experimental mindset — who rapidly test emerging capabilities to discover simpler, more powerful ways to deliver results. At Snowflake, your role isn't just to execute a function, but to help redefine the future of how work gets done. Senior Software Engineer — Cortex Training The Snowflake ML Platform team's mission is to let customers run their most demanding ML/AI workloads inside Snowflake. Cortex Training is our LLM post-training platform: it turns scarce, expensive GPU capacity into a simple, composable service, so customers can adapt open-weight foundation models to their own business problems while we handle the hard distributed-systems parts, including scheduling, orchestration, multi-node training and inference, fault tolerance, and throughput. The platform already runs post-training at scale. Under the hood, it decouples GPU computation from the training loop and exposes it as primitive APIs that compose into everything from SFT to full RL workflows. You'll work alongside a team that ships fast & sweats reliability and the researchers behind DeepSpeed. We're looking for an engineer who thrives in the ML infrastructure layer and brings a solid understanding of LLMs and post-training to help us scale and grow it. YOU WILL: Design and build across the full stack — from the public training APIs and SDK through the control plane to the GPU data plane. Scale the distributed systems that make GPU compute serverless — multi-tenant scheduling, placement, and capacity-aware routing across regional G

About Snorkel Snorkel AI is the frontier AI data lab, helping teams build the data and environments behind high-performing frontier and agentic AI. We combine technology with research-driven AI data development to create datasets, benchmarks, evals, and custom solutions for real-world AI systems. Founded out of the Stanford AI Lab in 2019, Snorkel works with leading AI labs and enterprises to move from better data to better outcomes. Excited to help us redefine how AI is built? Apply to be the newest Snorkeler! In September 2026 we raised a $350 million Series E at a $3.5 billion valuation , and we are scaling our engineering and research teams to meet demand. The role Frontier AI data is expensive to make and hard to measure. Every task we deliver is tested against the strongest models, often through many long-running agent rollouts. Your job is to make that process faster, cheaper, and more rigorous with ML and AI You will be one of the early members of ML & Research Engineering at Snorkel. You will study how frontier-grade data is generated and evaluated, form hypotheses, validate them against real production data, and ship the winners at scale. You will shape the discipline's direction, its standards, and the team that grows around it. What you'll work on Efficient agentic evals. Cut the cost of long-horizon agent evaluation with adaptive sampling, statistically grounded early stopping, model cascades, caching, and cheap-first gating. AI model routing. Route every eval and judge call to the cheapest model that clears the quality bar, with fallback, monitoring, and cost attribution. Fine-tuned small models. Fine-tune and serve open-weight models (LoRA and other parameter-efficient methods) where they match frontier quality, and know when they don't. Predictive difficulty. Build models that estimate how hard a task is for frontier systems before running a single rollout. Measurement for AI data. Build golden datasets, quantify the accuracy and calibratio
