JOIN OUR TEAM As a Senior Software Engineer , you will play a key role in shaping and evolving our order management and commerce platform with Fluent Commerce at its core. You will design and build workflows, integrations, and platform extensions that reliably power the journey of millions of customer orders. Working across Fluent Commerce, Java-based services, APIs, and our wider e-commerce ecosystem, you will take ownership of complex features end-to-end, from specification and architecture through to delivery, monitoring, and continuous improvement. Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams, you will combine strong technical judgment with a deep understanding of order management and distributed systems to build solutions that are scalable, resilient, and easy to evolve. Your curiosity for emerging technologies and AI-assisted development will help the team work smarter, ship faster, and continuously improve how we build and operate our commerce platform. WHAT YOU'LL DO Design, build, and maintain solutions on the Fluent Commerce platform, taking end-to-end ownership from architecture to production release and maintenance Design and evolve Fluent Commerce workflows, rules, events, and orchestration logic supporting order management, fulfilment, and inventory processes Develop custom Fluent Commerce rules using the Rules SDK and Java, keeping business logic modular, testable, and maintainable Build and extend integrations between Fluent Commerce and our wider e-commerce landscape using GraphQL, REST APIs, webhooks, events, and other integration patterns Own the reliability and performance of order-management flows, handling failure scenarios, retries, idempotency, and observability Work closely with Product and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into technical designs, build AI-powered capabilities, and champion engineering quality through automated testing, code reviews, and documentation YO

We are the layer that turns a customer's model into something they and their AI agents can query interactively using our Process Query Language across enterprise-sized datasets. The team actively evolves our new premium query engine, collaborating with multiple other teams across time zones. New features, improved operationability, robust security, and allowing for scalable customer workloads are ours to design and ship. Our defining program right now is a multi-year migration of the query engine that has powered Celonis for years onto our new premium query engine.
