We're hiring a Senior Software Engineer, Mobile QA to join the App Infra team within the Consumer & Business group. The team is leading the greenfield native rewrite of Coinbase's retail mobile app in Swift and Kotlin, replacing the existing React Native codebase to deliver a significantly faster experience for millions of customers. You’ll build automated regression frameworks directly into the AI-assisted code generation loop so defects are caught at commit time, not after. What you'll do: Own the design and implementation of automated regression test suites for native iOS and Android builds, setting the project-level quality bar through code reviews, test standards, and trade-off analysis that teammates and partners trust. Build test infrastructure integrated into the AI code generation cycle, enforcing automated test and performance verification at commit time and defaulting to automation where manual steps currently slow the team. Partner with mobile engineers to close coverage gaps, eliminate flaky tests, and fix the slow debugging workflows the team has learned to tolerate. Architect the QA strategy for the greenfield rollout, solving high-complexity problems around catching regressions while supporting urgent last-minute changes from prod

Company: tastytrade Role: Software Engineer (Ruby) Location: Chicago, IL — Hybrid Salary: $130,000-$150,000 As a Software Engineer you will be part of a team that builds out the technology powering our retail brokerage business and supporting our other business initiatives. We care about the speed and stability of our back-end systems as much as we care about the customer-facing applications we build. Our architecture is distributed and consistently evolving as our business grows and we face different technical challenges, but always with a focus on practicality and performance. You'll help by modifying existing systems, taking ownership of current systems as well as green field projects, and troubleshooting issues as they arise. Our engineers work with a plethora of tools including Java, Javascript, and Ruby. You'll work primarily in Ruby but will have opportunities to expand your skill set into areas where your interests and our technology intersect. Ruby doesn't have to be your primary language today. If you're strong in another object-oriented language — Java, for example — and you're genuinely keen to make Ruby your day-to-day, we'd like to hear from you. Our technical interview is conducted in Ruby wherever possible, so you'd need to be comfortable enough to code in it by the time we meet. What You'll Do Work in multiple languages across different parts of the tastytrade stack and/or front-end trading client applications. Design, build and maintain services in a distributed architecture, thinking about failure modes, latency and data consistency as you go. Provide guidance and leadership to more junior members of the team when questions arise about language or implementation specifics, and contribute in a meaningful way to our peer review process. Translate requirements and technical direction into production-quality code with lightweight guidance from a senior engin

About the team The Monetization team is a new cross-functional group spanning engineering, product, research, and design. We are building the foundational systems that will help OpenAI scale access to intelligence responsibly. Our mission is to create user-first, privacy-preserving monetization products—including next-generation ads experiences—that strengthen trust, expand economic opportunity, and support OpenAI’s long-term innovation. We believe monetization should deliver clear user value, uphold rigorous privacy and safety standards, and sustain a healthy ecosystem for developers and businesses. The team operates in a greenfield environment, moving quickly through prototyping, experimentation, and iterative deployment. We partner closely across Product, Design, and Research to bring new capabilities into real-world systems at global scale. About the role We’re looking for an experienced Software Engineer to lead the design and development of the systems that turn advertiser feeds (eg. retail feeds, travel feeds etc.) into relevant, reliably delivered ads. In this foundational role, you will build across the full ads lifecycle—from ingesting and organizing retailer or travel catalogs into efficient retrieval systems, supporting ranking models, and serving ads at scale. This role is well suited to an engineer with direct experience in product ads retrieval, ranking, and delivery, along with a strong understanding of merchant feeds and shopping systems such as Google Shopping, YouTube product ads, or Amazon. We also welcome engineers with Senior Staff-level or greater scope who have deep ownership of large-scale catalogs, search and indexing, ads serving, or closely related distributed systems. You will independently own complex systems, make sound technical tradeoffs, and help define the architecture and roadmap for Shopping/Travel/Feed Ads. You will collaborate closely with Ads ML, Ads Delivery, Product, Design, and Research to connect accurate, fresh advertiser
