Senior Solutions Engineer (US West)

Drata is building the trust layer between great companies - automating compliance, managing risk, and helping organizations prove trust continuously as they scale. We're Dratanauts: a global crew of 600+ professionals united by a culture that rewards integrity, ownership, and raising the bar, no matter where in the world we're working from. Why Join the Drata Team? At Drata, you're not maintaining legacy compliance software - you're building the agentic AI platform defining what trust looks like for the next generation of companies. Here's what makes the work itself worth showing up for: Problems without a playbook: You'll work at the edge of AI and security, building agentic governance, continuous compliance, and real-time trust verification to solve problems that don't have an established answer yet. You're writing it as you go. Real ownership, not just process: Our values center on owning outcomes and raising the bar, not checking boxes. You're expected to have opinions and back them. A seat at the table: Your perspective is unique and valued. Open debate and diverse viewpoints are built into how decisions actually get made here, at every level. Growth at rocketship speed: Drata is scaling fast, which means scope grows fast too. High performers get more ownership, visibility, and experience. A crew, not just coworkers: Dratanauts consistently describe a "come as you are" culture with sharp, curious people—the kind of team that makes hard problems genuinely fun to solve. We are looking for a Senior Solutions Engineer, Federal/Public Sector to join our Solutions Engineering team. You will partner with Account Executives to qualify, progress, and close revenue opportunities with civilian, defense, and intelligence community agencies, guiding them through demos, architecture discussions, and proofs-of-concept that prove Coder’s value for both human developers and the AI coding agents working alongside them, often inside classified or air-gapped networks. This is not a scripted-demo-only role. You are equally comfortable running a deep technical proof-of-concept inside a disconnected or classified environment and stepping back to translate a technical win into a business case a federal decision-maker will act on. You are energized by ambiguity, motivated by winning deals the right way, and capable of bringing the voice of the agency back into how Coder builds and sells. What You’ll Do Own the technical relationship with agency prospects through pre-sales, and efficiently manage towards a technical win Lead or support post-sales relationships and renewals when needed Demo the Coder platform from the developer, administrator, and AI agent workflow perspectives, including in classified and air-gapped settings Install Coder on cloud (including GovCloud) and on-prem Kubernetes or VM infrastructure, up to and including air-gapped and disconnected networks Run proofs-of-concept that prove Coder’s value, including for agentic and LLM-powered development workflows, and accelerate deals Evolve into a subject-matter expert on Cloud Development Environments, agentic AI development, and their impact on mission delivery Serve as the agency’s voice, routing insights to Engineering and Product Log feature requests and issues in our public/private Git repositories Troubleshoot Coder deployments, networking, and Kubernetes components during evaluation, including within classified networks Contribute pull requests to Coder’s documentation What We’re Looki

We are investing in agentic AI and need a Senior AI Engineer to lead the design and delivery of these systems. This is a foundational hire: you will own both the agent-facing workstreams — pipelines, orchestration, conversational interfaces — and the underlying context layer that makes them reliable, including memory management, knowledge graph integration, and retrieval infrastructure. You will work closely with data engineers, project leads, and client stakeholders, and play a key role in shaping how Lynx builds and ships AI solutions at scale. What This Involves: Lead the architecture and delivery of agentic AI systems end-to-end: agents, orchestration, tool use, and multi-step reasoning workflows. Own the context layer: design and implement memory architectures (episodic, semantic, working memory) and integrate GraphRAG and knowledge graph retrieval into agentic pipelines. Build robust RAG systems — including vector retrieval, graph traversal, and hybrid search — and ensure retrieval quality through evaluation frameworks. Translate client requirements into technical designs, presenting approaches and trade-offs to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Define standards and reusable patterns for agentic AI development that other engineers at Lynx can build on. Set up observability, evaluation, and monitoring pipelines to ensure AI systems perform correctly in production. Requirements: 5–8 years of software or ML engineering experience, with at least 2–3 years building LLM-based or agentic AI systems in production. Deep hands-on experience with agentic frameworks (LangChain, LlamaIndex, AutoGen, CrewAI, or similar) and LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.). Strong understanding of agent design patterns: ReAct, planning loops, tool use, multi-agent coordination, and memory architectures. Practical experience with GraphRAG or knowledge graph-based retrieval (e.g., Neo4j, Microsoft GraphRAG) and vector databases (Pinecone, Weaviate, Qdrant, etc.). Proficiency in
